And who do you blame for that? Don't take it out on the low level personnel, take it to the top.

Dress Code
What I am going to say is going to really upset a lot of people, but here goes. Just a few days ago, I saw several groups of girls walking around in short shorts, swim suit tops and belly rings-shorts were unbuttoned. I don't want to look at that, and it is especially gross sitting in a seat after one of those wet girls gets out of the train. Now yeah the perception is security is nonexistent at KI and yes, it needs improvement, but I have seen suits walk by people openly smoking in non smoking areas and they don't say squat. So the reason nothing is done, is it comes from the top. The particular suit I observed ignoring the problem promptly picked up his blackberry and appeared to talk on it and created the illusion that he was busy. When management ignores it, what do you expect?

Reminder About Leaving Stuff In Boomerang Bay
interesting story, but how do you know security didn't just pick your bag up because they saw it unattended? You shouldn't be leaving unattended bags out for any reason regardless of where you placed it. I somehow doubt if a thief got your bag, they took a few dollars and your bag just made it into the hands of Lost and Found. Are you saying security took the money? Pretty bold to make that accusation on here. I see women leaving their purses completely unattended in places other than the park, which blows my mind . I have to remind my own mother to hold her purse up-she has the habit of carrying it by the handles and letting it nearly drag the ground-would be very easy for a thief to grab and go. Thieves are generally after easy cash-and that is what happened there.

Dress Code
People can't read, or don't think the rule applies to them. The amount of women walking around with just the swimsuit top and very short shorts is out of control this year. Most of the women (or girls) wearing the shorts have them unbuttoned to show their belly rings. Skanky.

How crowded today?
I drove by an hour ago and north gate was still open. Yeah, its getting pretty crowded.

ERT Returning to Beast/Diamondback
I agree-those guys work their backsides off. There is nothing wrong with changing ERT back to DB. Vortex is too rough for me personally, so I won't be on it anymore. I sleep late and have never been to ERT unless working. All opinions are important on here, and no one should accuse another of whining. Seriously. Don't be so judgmental.

Overly aggressive Keyhole Photo employees
I would willingly pay more for the season pass if they got rid of them altogether-I mean it. I don't know how many times I have been nearly bowled over by rambunctious teens playing in the midway.

Overly aggressive Keyhole Photo employees
If they step in front of me after I tell them no thank you, that is invading my personal space. Also, a recipe for disaster as I am quite a klutz. Yes, even though it irks the hell out of me to tolerate all the sales pitches in the park, I am polite and always respond with no thank you. I will stress again-I am seriously tired of it. Everywhere we go these days we are pressured to buy buy buy and I don't have it, and don't need it. Walking through coney mall anymore is like those commercials on tv where they turn the volume up to where you jump. And don't get me started on those d*mn basketballs. That's even worse than the photographers. Most of the midways are an obstacle course with those things.

Isn't that harrassment??

Overly aggressive Keyhole Photo employees
Like I said on another web page, I'm surprised one of them hasn't been belted yet. It's gonna happen. Throw in some alcohol, a person already agitated with the prices and uh oh. A day at the park is supposed to help unwind from the daily stresses of life. The sales pitches and in your face attitude of the photographers just keep it going.

Creepy Six Flags New Orleans Photos
I saw these somewhere before-not sure if it was on this site or not-but its really sad to see what has become of it. Not a good area to build, period. Let nature take it back-flooding will always be an issue there.

Gold Pass Parking area in the afternoon
Option 3-Get rid of it altogether. That's probably not a popular idea, but I have seen many near brawls over the parking spaces in that lot and its not worth it to me. I park in the north lot-its also quicker to exit at closing.

I'm sick of it to be honest. Everywhere I go it seems someone is in my face trying to get me to buy something I don't need. One advantage is I am usually going in alone, and they don't bother with that. Isn't this approach kind of a paramount thing? It's outlived its time.

Kings Island Incident 6-22-11
How did they get a basketball on the coaster? Good question. Someone slipped up

Kings Island Incident 6-22-11
What an idiot. Ranks up there with the guy that threw the basketball off the second hill and nearly hit my daughter with it.

Windseeker closed yesterday due to....wind
It sure is. I can vouch for that. It was calm the day I was there, and you get up to the top and its windy as heck.

Kings Island Incident 6-22-11
Why the overkill? I have never understood that.

SO... How was Windseeker?
Raptor Guy, didn't someone hurl last night after they exited?

SO... How was Windseeker?
Awesome. Very enjoyable.

Windseekers expected to debut Tuesday 6/21
I enjoyed it. It's a bit nerve wracking at the top, because it gets really windy up there, but its quite a rush. One thing, though, I did get dizzy at the top, but the second ride wasn't as bad. It was worth the wait

Haunted Dinosaur?
Interesting. I haven't seen that dino move, and didn't know it could. Wow.

I have a ton of respect for those guys-they have a tough job and they excel at it.

What`s next for Son of Beast?
I'm not so sure about that. I had a conversation with Don not that long ago and he told me that they could have the state come certify the ride for operation and it would pass, just as it is. I say open it up and put Don, Mr. K, Mr. Gramke and the state workers on it for two cycles with news crews recording the look on their faces when it's over. When I see that I will know if it's good to go or not. Now thats a good one-if they don't ride it, that tells me there is something not quite right. That is the most painful coaster I have ever been on. Besides, didn't they have to alter the trains a bit to get them to fit on Son? Perhaps the trains could be fixed but like the rest of it, how much more money are they going to dump into it? The last ride I had on it, the people coming into the station were not smiling.

I'm not so sure about that. I had a conversation with Don not that long ago and he told me that they could have the state come certify the ride for operation and it would pass, just as it is. That's foolish-and the park will only say what they want us to hear. Whether one dollar is spent, or another 20 million, it will still be the same unpredictable coaster it is now. I can't believe they would take the chance on that liability-and that's what it is at this point.

What`s next for Son of Beast?
I'll go with the latter. Take a real hard look at the track this year. The structure itself is not looking too good and after sitting for 2? years, it would take a lot of work to get it going again. My opinion is it's done.
