How so? I'm not trying to start an argument or anything, I just would like to know what makes you say that since I've had nothing but good interactions with every HW employee I've been in contact with. Some of their employees are just afraid/intimidated by black people It isn't the teens, its the older people that work their. I had a couple of incidences, Like when I got off the voyage I decided to go into a shop and purchase some rock candy. I ask the cashier how much is this rock candy stick that I picked up with tax, her eyes looked nervous when I asked! and she quickly said... A DOLLER! I was like ok thanks, and you could see fear in her eyes. When she rung up my items it came up the screen like $1.07, and then as I handed her my cash, she quickly garbed the cash out of my hand. When she was about to give me my change, I held my hand out, but instead of her putting the money in the palm of my hand she put the money on the counter.

My worst has to be holiday world. I mean... the park is prejudice or has very prejudice employees!

To me it feels like Kentucky Kingdom is were it was in 1995/1996. No hellavtor, No Chang, and no Twisted Twins, but I do believe me may see a couple of new flats or so.

The park has been lacking for a while. I mean, the only thing that has change from viewing Kentucky Kingdom at the fair is that grass is growing and Six Flags promotions are gone. Rides have been rusted for years, and Six Flags never done anything about it! 7 months may not seem like a lot of time, but it is to me. None of us know how many people could be helping to revenorate the park. It could be 20, 30, 40, 50, or even 100. These rides are the only rides the really need work, The Giant Wheel just needs to be repainted and get LED lighting, and so does T2 and Mile High Falls. Some rides need to be relocated or will be such as 8 kids rides, along with Breakdance, Himalaya, Pirate Ship and the Bumper Cars. And the only thing left is repainting the park and also adding a new parks entrance. Some of you think Kentucky Kingdom should be turned into just a water park but what is the point of that? I mean, Kentucky Kingdom, the dry side, always used to be fun, but Six Flags hasn't invested anything new into the dry side. We were supposed to get X-Flight, and I believe Superman Ultimate Escape (Steel Venom) from profits the Kentucky Kingdom made on its own in the late 1990s/early 2000s! But, Six Flags put our profits in SFWOAv, and we lacked rides while Holiday World, and Kings Island were adding rides to attract guest. The only thing Six Flags did with Kentucky Kingdom was add a small used coaster, and also Two New Water major water rides! and our water park is still not your average size water park, its so freaking small!

if Six Flags never bought Geagua Lake, Kentucky Kingdom would still be here today up and strong! competition is good, that keeps both parks strong and open and adding attractions.

That was a stupid mistake on Six Flags part. That right their could be the main reason why the parks attendance has been declining since about the year 2000/2001. Even if Kings Island added those additions in 1999 doesn't mean to send off kentucky kingdoms profits to another park! x-flight and superman ultimate escape would have been a right fit for Kentucky Kingdom too and would have boost up attendance!

Do any of you believe this... When Kentucky Kingdom was making money back in 1998-2000 under the SixFlags name, they made profits and had plans for new coasters and rides or what ever. I heard from speculation from another sites that Kentucky Kingdom was going to add an impulse coaster in the year 2000/2001. There were also rumors on screamscape about that back then. The impulse coaster was sent to Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure/Geauga Lake so that park could compete with Cedar Point. A couple of Kentucky Kingdoms other rides were also sent to Six Flags World of Adventure. There was also speculation of a flying coaster...x-flight/Firehawk.

Its only were chang used to be. Theirs alot of room over by T2, and Twisted Twins. They could place 3 flats in the Northwest Terriotry were that dragster ride used to be. Greezed Lighing done for.

Their is alot of room for those rides. The old top dragster area, theirs alot of room beind T2, and also theirs room over were Chang used to be. Its only 4 or 5 rides. It is or will be 50/50 next season, the waterpark today is so small. I worked at the park everyday last season.

The one ride could be Chang or Greezed Lighting, im not sure. Ed Hart is just trying to make the water park an average size like any other. You all know this waterpark is so small. Hes just making the park 50/50 half water and half amusment. Also, many of the rides will be relocated to the larger side like the Kids rides to the new area by the roller skater. Why don't you believe it? The park is nolonger run by a industry, its a city owned themepark once again. btw, the wild mouse is not going anywhere. btw, why are you comparing Geauga Lake to Kentucky Kingdom The Interpreter? maybe all of the rides from the smaller side will be relocated to the larger side like Breakdance, The Pirate Ship. The only coaster that maybe on the Chopping block is greezed Lightin. RoadRunner express can be installed somewhere else in the park within a week.

what happend? That was when the park was sort almost at the top of the mountain before it failed off.

a. I mean, Kentucky Kingdom isn't really popular during the fair. b. We have classic and new thrill rides. They Change every year. c. Hardly anyone rides the coasters. I tried to get on greezed Lightin for free last year with my Kentucky Kingdom work I.D! and the operators wouldn't let me on! The ride was deserted! If you worked at SFKK, you are aloud to ride fair rides for free but not SFKK! d. passes wern't free, Just about everyone had one especially teens here in louisville because they were cheap and also so we could have something to do in the summer!.

The rides arent a major factors. No one goes to Kentucky Kingdom to ride the rides because you have to pay to ride them. Everyone loves North american midway rides because those rides are thrill rides, kentucky kingdom has none, and those rides are only their for 10 days! and you can ride Kentucky Kingdoms for about 100 days or so for free with a season pass which most of everyone has in louisivlle.

the park will never get a major steel coaster!

look, I'm not talking about myself, Im talking about us teens here in Louisville. Every year this happens, we all meet up with our friends infront of Kentucky kingdom where the flag pool stand at the parks entrance. Its crowded with us teens, all from differnt schools were you can hardly move! You have to be at the fair on a friday night or saturday night. I don't fight, I'm not a fighter, Many of us teens pass out, many of us fight, run, or what ever in this crowd. I'm speaking out on not just me, but all of us teen here in DaVille. Were teens not adults, teens! its just the truth. If you ever go to the Kentucky State Fair and stand infront of Kentucky Kingdom at 8 or 9 and beyond, you will see what I'm talking about. BTW, Im growing up just find! These our just out teen years were many of us make bad mistakes.

No one don't even go into Kentucky Kingdom during the fair just to let you know! Hes talking about all of us High School teens that stand infront of Kentucky Kingdom main gate to meet of with our friends! When theirs a group of teens, some of us see people we don't like from other schools, and then words get exchange and later on fist start to fight! If you don't want to see us teens runnin arround, or wanna be thugs? then I would advise you to go to the fair while schoool is in seccesion sir or on a sunday.

Many people are starting to think that Ed Hart will bring Kentucky Kingdom in with a bang in 2011. Now some are thinking that since Chang is out, and is possibly not comming back, Ed is going to put a new coaster in the park next year in 2011, with the waterpark expansion, or add a coaster in 2012. Some people think this parks next coaster could be The Time Machine from FreeStyle Music Park. the only parks that serve free drinks are parks that serve Pepsi. Kentucky Kingdom may have free drinks and sunscreen next season since Magic Springs nd Crystals Falls had it.

You'll know what I mean, a major coaster like a B&M Coaster or Intiaman coaster or something. I just thought about it, isn't wildebeast classified as a roller coaster/ water ride? It was one of the parks highest ride investments ever. I think it was the 2nd or 3rd highest park investment.

I don't see holiday world adding a steel coaster anytime soon. Last time I check, Will said "YUCK" when someone ask him is Holiday World going to add a steal coaster. The next coaster to me will most likely be a GCI.

maybe, but more people here in louisville rather go to Holiday World then kentucky Kingdom, its only 45 min away. Everytime you say something about Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom they always say it Sucks, it doddie, its weak... Holiday World is much better. I wonder since Kentucky Kingdom is no longer Six Flags, will Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World have like a deal were you buy a season pass to either parks and get unlimited visit to each park? just a thought!
