Kentucky Kingdom
I'm pretty sure B&M has been aware of Mr. Hart's request. Remember, this whole situation with reopening Kentucky Kingdom goes back to 2010. Also, according to the RFP, this is supposed to be the month the KKRC is to put down a $200,000 down payment on the new B&M coaster. Financing is really not a problem IMO. I truley believe that the $$$ is already there. Here's a nice article that was just posted yesterday... http://insiderlouisville.com/news/2012/12/13/kingdom-come-ed-hart-has-gov-beshear-right-where-he-wants-him-pt-2/

IMO Ed Hart doesn't care about making $$$ of a reopen Kingdom, It's just very personal. We all know this.

Hopfully it's approved. The specuation going on really shows that everyone/most people here in the Louisville area misses the Kingdom. http://fatlip.leoweekly.com/2012/10/24/finance-cabinet-says-stop-speculating-about-kentucky-kingdom-trust-us/

What will take SOB's place?
a expanded Action Zone with one major new flat ride from huss and a new woodie. The park needs to expand the Action Zone out towards top gun IMO.

Twisted Twins obviously and possibly Greezed Lighting trains where taking from the site. Could this be a possible lawsuit towards Six Flags, if in fact the rides where never winterized for the 2010 season? That's a safety hazard and also it shows that they was pulling out out of the park.

Dude, Women, whatever you are, I'm commited to the park reopening no matter who's taking it over unlike you. How about you just hope for the park to reopen in the future and stop doubting the park.

The kochs sound like they're commited to the project no matter what. The state of Kentucky too! I just wish the state would hurry up with the economic studys so a lease can be signed and they (Kochs) can start getting to work.

Ed Hart didn't pull out, he was basically throw out of the park. This news is still fresh, so no one really knows this recent news. But i'm sure many people are going to cry to BB or Ed Hart to reopen the park on facebook. The park was offered finiacal help from the Snider Company but I don't think the Kochs want it. BB just posted a new blog http://bluegrassboardwalk.com/

WHO CARES? SHE'S JUST A ICON! Many people here that are local to the park are only getting aggravated by the recent news of the park. I don't see the park reaching state requirements without its major rides. "It's all about the rides" -Ed Hart

Kentucky Kingdom WAS Kentucky's #1 tourist attraction for several years (1997-2001?). I've heard it several times on the local news since the closure of the park when Ed Hart was trying to acquire it.

I wonder why those trains where still on track. I've heard from a former employee sorce that the train was however wrapped up for the winter season when the park closed after the 2009 season like every season while on track in the station. When KK closed for the 2007 season they left the trains for twisted twins on the track as well. Those trains sat in the station for almost 3 ye wrapped up. The coursal also had also been covered up by its covers/curtians, but it look like Ed or the Fairboard had decided to unwrap these rides and give them some air or something durring recent months.

There has been several photo updates of the park since its closure. The last photos I've saw from last May and October which shows the park just Winterized. The park looks like it can open in a couple of months but thats not possible.
