The Save My Park Group said that there was supposed to be some sort of new content last week but nothing was ever posted. Things have been very active on the inside of the park. Just last week I believe the waterpark was being expected (from my viewing from outside the park). Also security is on deck right now. At night every single light is turned on inside the park. From the stations lights on Twisted Twins, all the way to the Stadium behind T2. The lights being on gives a feeling to me that the park was never closed. Also, be prepared for the news on the tax incentives in two to three weeks.

So by your own logic, you're naive and ignorant since you take every press release from Ed Hart as gospel truth. It's all common sense. If you don't have it, then your delusional. Obviously you guys werent born with it. I'm not on no one's bandwagon, I'm just telling it like I see it.

It seems like you believe they''re a picture perfect family. "It darn near tore that family apart" paha, your soft. I honestly believe they is just like any other family in reality. What we see on TV is nothing but just a fake reality show. And what we see at the park while they're there is nothing but business to make money.

"I SAID HEADING TO HOLIDAY WORLD FOR THE DRY PARK ALONE" You guys have your own opinions, and Idk how many times a you guys visited the park. I'm just giving you guys my opinion and the opinions of people who visited Holiday World from my area. If you agree you agree, If you disagree, you disagree. what are you guys talking about Ed Hart just opening the water park first? He's opening the entire park besides Twisted Twins and Greezed Lighting. Twisted Twins is my favorite coaster by the way Terp. Just saying.

While at Holiday World while waiting in line for a ride all you hear is people refering to Kentucky Kingdom or Kings Island. Here are several things I hear people say, "I wish Kentucky Kingodm was open, they have rides that go upside down", "Kings Island have the big BIG rides", "Holiday World is just a big waterpark, all they have here is the voyage". I know that Holiday World is a FAMILY park, but its just not worth the drive if your just headed to the dry park and not the water park. It's highly boring. In the remaining several season of Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom the waterpark was the main draw. Louisville has closed so many public pools, etc in recent years before the closure. so Kentucky Kingdom was basically the only place (or few places) to cool down. When I talk to my friends about the reopening and I tell them about what the park is supposed to be getting. Once I mention waterslides they just become aggravated and shake their head.

Having been down there and talked to several locals when I wrote an article on it. Worked at another nearby amusement park that picked up a lot of former SFKK clientele who frequently discussed the accident or erroneously believed that the accident was the cause for it closing. Also, numerous article comments, enthusiast message boards and the "fans" of KK who post on facebook. As for where else in Louisville is there to go? ...Holiday World. Also, Ark Park seems to have more definite planning that Ed Hart's "word." Thank you. People blamed the accident on everything. You would assume that the park closed because of it but it didn't. We all know or most of us that Six Flags was causing Kentucky Kingdom to go down hill before that accident. That's why Jay Thomas came along to help turn it around in late 2005. However, after the Accident Jay was relocated immediately to SFMM and future plans for Kentucky Kingdom was scraped. Random Note...Holiday World (Not Splashin Safari) is way overrated.

Actually, Everything is in storage. Equipment, Games, Food Appliances, etc.

If you want to hit Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World it will be 1-3 hours

Do any of you see Kentucky Kingdom succeeding?

From working at the park, Greezed Lighting had the most downtime than any other ride in the park. Sometimes it would be out of service for a week or two.

When the lease was agreed on, The Company announced plans to add TWO NEW MAJOR THRILL RIDES. I guess that's one of the changes. I wouldn't be surpirsd if Ed adds in a multiple tower S&S. We will find out the conditions of the park on Tuesday according to the LeoWeekly on twitter.

Feb 4th. Here's the ironic part. That day will mark that 4th anniversary of Six Flags announcing the closing of Kentucky Kingdom.

Besides tourism tax credits, what is Ed Hart waiting for?

I think it's true. IMO there's nothing to negotiate with the FairBoard. They know what the KKRC wants, the same contract they had with the Koch family last summer. The Fairboard just needs to put that same contract on the table at the next meeting and let it be signed.

Kentucky Kingdom is now on the Fair Boards Agenda for a lease to be signed at the next meeting.
