Perhaps CF is paying attention to the horrible reaction (for the most part) that Flight Deck was receiving and decided to change the name to something else. I think that name is 100+% better than Flight Deck.

I was so upset when the Eagles took off. I was the snappingest of the snapping of the cables. So much so that I thought the cable would break and I'd go flying into The Vortex track.

One of the dirty secrets of the theme park business is that virtually all the food is so dramatically overpriced that the 'less expensive' places in a park will cost very little less and can often cost you as much or more than the 'expensive' places. This was true back in the International Restaurant days and is just as true now. A soft drink will cost you the same anywhere in the park. An order of fries is just as overpriced anywhere in the park. It's even true, to an extent, in the Disney and Universal parks. Which one is that again? The red logo? If an expensive restaurant in an amusement park has to change it's name, does anyone really care? I totally ignore Bubba Gump's as well as Happy Days/Preston Tucker's because the prices are so dern high. I'm not rich dangit!!!!

Understood. I'm really trying to figure out what is going on in that area. Is it going to be a full on section, or just FOF and Firehawk? There's a lot that could be done if the intention is to build on what's there already, no?

Yes. Pre Paramount sticks out in my mind more than the Paramount era. I remember climbing the stairs of the Eiffel Tower with my dad. We climbed all the way to the top. I'm not really sure if we were supposed to be on the stairs or not, but I remember climbing that whole darn thing. Are we absolutely sure that there's no blue on Top Gun right now? For some reason, I seem to want to think that some part of it is blue. Is that really going to be the new name of TG? It seems like little or no thought was put into that.

I realize all that, but Gator answered my question. I'm a "person of exceptional size*" as CF puts it, and when I rode it, I had to have my own car, and I had to sit all the way to the left and have my legs to the right. Does anyone know when and why the tunnel was removed from The Beastie? (I refuse to call it by any other name) I rode it this year, and was disappointed by the lack of the tunnel. Was it a safety issue? Thanks for the time. WHOOHOO 100 Posts. No longer a tourist.

It's fine as is. Just fix the lights, and such. On a side note, did the whole X Base concept ever get explained to the "public." (and by public, I mean us, on the boards)

It's not that much more. At least it's not as much as you're probably thinking. The effects were pretty cool when they were working. The "smoke" made me sick each and every time I went through it. darn, I'm old.

That's about what I expected. I guess the top "coaster hill" logo is here to stay. It seems to be a company wide thing. I never realized the thing I was talking about was an exclamation point.

On a side note, it's a little surreal that I'm staying online waiting for a picture of a sign. I never thought I was that addicted to KI, but I guess I am. I'm a logo freak and I'm ready to see what CF did. I think that signage throughout the park would reflect the main sign.
