SF Fiesta Texas: T-Shirt Incident Causes Havoc
Great points Woofer and Beetle. People don't read the fine print enough anymore. I love when people get offended by authority figures telling them that offensive behavior (clothing, actions etc) is not permitted. I guarantee if that guy wore that shirt into that park, someone would have found it offensive. And ultimately it is the park's discretion. Kudos to Six Flags....

Do you like getting stuck on a ride?
As long as I'm not in an extreme amount of pain (Beast and Racer I'm talking to you). I'm cool with it.

angrybeaver's huge Photo/video trip report (4/26/08)
i was kinda thinkin it was supposed to be Firehawk? sorta some of the elements from that ride are visible.... not sure though. Could just be some random coaster. I wouldn't think so based on everything else that is there, but who knows. It seems that the artist tried to stay true to KI, so the mystery rages on, I guess.

I saw pkiboy and some other person, i forget his name. I was supposed to go say hi to Cap. Nemo but when i was riding The Beast i forgot, and than i came back around 5pm. and i asked another ride operater to tell him i said hellow. I did not see you, well we could of been on the same ride or wait... who knows. Maybe ill see you next time? Perhaps. I did see some Volcome stuff though. I'm beginning to think that if you don't set up a time and a place to meet, it's pretty hard to find people on here.

Jasper---We were lucky. I think the longest line of the day was The Beast, and that's only because I waited for the front seat. Avatar---It was a great trip and I can't wait for my next one. Possibly next Saturday, if I'm fully recovered.

What Was Your Opinion of County Line?
I have to say that I enjoyed the show. Josh is a true performer, and a consummate professional. That guy impresses me. I went at 4 on Saturday, and he was sweating up a storm. The show is pretty fun to watch. I recommend it.

I'll try to spare everyone the agony of my first TR and make this one more bearable. Got to the park around 9:15ish and bought our Platinum passes. No sales tax= happy me. After the National Anthem, we headed towards AZ, and after the ropes dropped we got two rides on Flight Deck in. We were probably the second train out, and when we came back, I asked the ride op if we could just stay in our seats as no one was waiting yet. She told us that we had to get out and re-enter the line. Once we got back to the station she said " I just found out you could've stayed in." Oh, well. Next was SOB. Pretty fun ride, and the angles on the drops are insane. After that was Delirium which is too much fun. The Racer was calling so we gave it a shot on the Red side. We lost our race by a ton, but it was fun to go forward on that side, if not a little weird. Next up was Firehawk. What can I say about this ride that hasn't already been said? It's so fun. After Firehawk was FOF. Line was short, and the ride didn't disappoint. Needing nourishment, we left and had a biscuit. Lunch in our bellies, we came back and rode the Viking Fury. An oldie but goodie. Since we were right there, I wanted to see the County Line show. It's a pretty good show, and I have to give the performers their props. Especially Josh, that guy is doing three different shows this year. What a professional he is. I enjoyed the show and recommend it to everyone, at least once. The Beast was our next destination. After a long wallk around through Nick Central, we were there. A decent wait was had and then we boarded. The Beast was in a bad mood though, and the restraint on my left leg was killing me. The ride was awesome as usual, but The Beast was testy. I would like to commend The Beast staff. Of all the crews, The Beast's were just as professional as you would want to see. I was very impressed. Polite, purposeful, and on top of things, awesome job, guys. I even saw two associates ride with little ones. That impressed me even more. I decided to try my luck at a game of skill and win myself an evil looking Gremlin plush. I have to say that me trying to finesse that ball in that little hoop had to have looked like Shaq trying to shoot on a 6 foot rim. By this time we were both exhausted, so we decided to visit the SOB and Delirium once more. Delirium is fun, but the restraints are torture on my shoulders. I only saw one person from the forums, but I'm sure I'll see more in my coming visits. Overall a great trip to start of the season.

Does the music play while the ride is going on? Or before you board the ride? I've never ridden the Crypt so, I don't know what to expect when I finally do ride it.

What Was Your Opinion of County Line?
I remember back in the day when the Festhaus had ice in it for an ice show. Don't remember the specifics though, I just remember it had ice. It's interesting how easy it seems for KI to just move an ice surface around. I also remember the magic show in the KI Theater. Man I've seen a few shows at KI.

Sounds good. If you're not sure if it's me or not, just ask. I've got a lot of hair. It'll probably be pretty out of control once I get off my first ride.

Hey Beaver. I'll see you there... Nemo, you too....

KICentral Takes You Back To 1972
You're right. Looking back it wasn't blatantly obvious or obnoxious like it is today. That makes sense as well with Taft, I guess I forgot.

Fun will be had. I'm planning on going multiple times over the season, so hopefully I'll meet lots of you guys.

If anyone is going to KI on the 26th, I'll be there. I'm about 6'5" and I'll be wearing a white Carson Palmer jersey. I would like to start putting faces to some of the names on here. So if you see a big dude in a Bengals jersey with longish hair, don't hesitate to say hi.

Time To Smell The Tulips
Did I not see somewhere on here that Captain Nemo is working at KI? Or am I just putting two and two together? (Gabriel) EDIT: Great TR. I'm looking forward to more TRs from you.

KICentral Takes You Back To 1972
I'm amazed by how much corporate sponsoring there was, even back in 1972. Makes you wonder, eh?
