Good move, IMO. I know UC and OSU don't start till September 19th But then again we do go in to June but I don't mind it. All I know is that I still have 42 days before I start back.

Yeah, people are usually against killing... But it would be pretty sweet to go to the lower observation level. I wonder if they've ever thought about making that area like the Eiffel Tower in Paris (and the one in Vegas) and put a nice sit-down restaurant there.

That ride does look pretty sweet and hopefully I'll be able to ride it when I go next Saturday. So I wanted to hickjack this thread for a second so I don't have to create a new one just for a question. On Holiday World's website it says... The 18th, the day I was planning on going, would be the next Saturday in weekly progression. So I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight onto how crowded it normally is on Saturdays. I'm kinda scared that it'll be packed but I've never been so I can't say. Anyone?

If anyone out there was thinking about going to the concert, www.westcoaster.net has some pictures of the concert he did at the Orange County Fair. It looks like it should be awesome but I was planning on going to Holiday World that day so I don't think I'll be going to the concert.

What was your opinion of the park? As good as top ten out of Orlando?

Fair rides have always worried me. Something like this is just horrible.

I just found it interesting that MOA area used to be called Camp Snoopy but is now Nickelodeon. I wonder if CF will follow suit in appealing to kids love of Nick instead of the Peanuts.

There was supposed to be one but SoB didn't open with the park so instead we did a scavenger hunt.

Also, Gravity Group wasn't around till 7/2002. I wouldn't mind them tearing down SoB and having Gravity Group building them a new woodie but that seems very unlikely since they just spent more money on re-doing it.

Very cool stuff. I'm at UC in Electrical and Computer Engineering and I'm kinda hoping I can co-op at Disney my senior year. I think it would be a blast.

I had some of the same thoughts with the FoF w/ lights on ride and the lanyard allowing us to go up the entrance or use the speed lane or something (I tried to get the speed lane passes but forgot they were over with at the end of July). I don't think there's much behind the scenes at Boomerang Bay but it would be funny to see some of us on the Pipeline Paradise Great time and I'm sure next time will be just as fun or even better.

And I with 7 of my friends are planning on going next Dec because of this. This doesn't mean I don't wish I could go to KD or Busch Gardens, because I do, but I am (heck most people are) more likely to fly to one general area to go to 4 parks then to drive to one place for one park and then another place for another park (unless I could find some people to go with me )

Let's see: 1 Yes. People like to be heard 2 Yes. People usually go out of their way to take advantage of incentives 3 Yes. And maybe not just stage shows but street performers (a quartet or something) that walk around certain areas of the park. This would help enhance guest experience I feel 4 Yes. It has been said several times that people like feeling safe but it can't go to a point where they see too many security and wonder if there's a problem with unruly guest and feel unsafe 5 Yes. Most definitely. That's one of the reasons I leave to eat. Why would I want the same quality burger from KI that I could get at McDonalds that I could be paying a dollar for instead of 6?

Actually most people out in CA think that California Adventure was a mistake. And Disney seems to agree since they are setting around a $1.2 billion budget to add new rides and "fix" the park over the next several years.

It doesn't say more popular it says top. They must've found something better about Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park than they found at Dollywood or any other park for that matter. I can't say for myself because I haven't been to either. Well technically if it says outside Orlando, WDW should be in there since it's in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

I would be happy with anything from B&M except flying since we already have one (sit down, stand-up, floorless, inverted, dive, hyper, and possibly if they have any new ideas), a launched inverted (or any launched) from Intamin and anything from the Gravity Group.
