Last year under CF, selected sections of the park were open a half an hour early every weekday. I remember Coney Mall was Friday and I think Action Zone was Tuesday. It was pretty awesome going through the barricade where the regular general admission people were waiting to get let in. I don't remember that many people being there so that's probably why they're not doing it this year.

I guess I'm just confused with how the food/games/merchandise numbers could be more than the admission when people aren't in the parks but can still purchase tickets.

But wouldn't the admission numbers still include season passes purchased? And you can't really get any food or play any games when the park isn't open.

So people are spending as much on Food, Merchandise, and Games as they are on Admission?

Actually in order to find proof for my claim that B&M doesn't put turns at the top of hills but has hill curved, I found a few pictures in favor of both... Turn Kraken Chang Curved hill Montu Dominator I wonder if people at the Clermont Steel Plant are told what/where the track is for.

Very nice. I doubt B&M would put a turn right at the top of a hill instead of making it a curved drop, but that's just me.

I like how that comparison chart listed KI's ticket price as $46 dollars (which is the price for the two day pass) and CP's as the single day pass of $43. Also that there is no real transition between talking about CP to talking about KI... Other than that it was a pretty good article.

As formerly state in the KICentral.com Staff ERT? thread, my brother and I were at KI Friday. I got there (5:30) a little earlier than he did (6:15). I walked through the barren front of the park back to X-Base. I knew FoF was going to be running so after a five minute wait I got my first ride on that of the year. Then I got in line as they were opening Firehawk; a 15 minute wait. After that I rode Vortex two times in a row (not having to get off because of the sparse crowd) and then met my brother at Ol' Swan Lake. For all pictures click here. I'm pretty sure kirocksnroll meant to say that FoF has an inversion but mistakenly thought that any coaster element that goes upside-down is a loop (whereas the term is an inversion).

El Toro? Don't you mean The Voyage (which is a hybrid).

It depends what you term scary. They have plenty scary rides for like people that are afraid of heights (Drop Tower:Scream Zone) and such. But yes, as of right now, they have no "mentally scary"/dark/dreary attraction. They seem to lock all of that up and keep it just for Halloween Haunt. NOTE: I know you could consider The Crypt a dark/dreary ride but that would be just as physically thrilling outside.

That sounds amazing. I just feel like boo-ing when the train hits the MCBR. I mean it's kinda cool being at the top of the coaster and being able to look at everything but the experience of the rest of the ride suffers. Anyhoo.... How'd you get that ride?

I almost blackout on Invertigo every time I've ridden it. It's on the return trip when you go through the boomerang, facing forwards and backwards. Same thing with the helix on BLSC. I hate to say it, but I think it's pretty awesome lol
