Yeah, it was probably easier for Paramount with the movie studios and all. But I guess it could be done if it could be proven it could spruce up the back of the park and attract more guests.

Amen Brother Woofer. Often I wonder what goes through people's heads; in this case I don't think I wanna know because it still wouldn't make sense.

I wonder how fast the train is going to be going when it hits the water, or if it just gets close and they use fountains for the water splash effect. Even if they're going slow, it's still a lot of wear and tear on the side of the train.

I don't know about The Beast, but Flight Deck could use a new paint job. I thought with the change of name, KI would decide what color scheme they would use (new or otherwise) yet it's still needing it. If they are doing track work to the Beat then they'll probably wait till it's done to paint/stain it.

I say KI should make the new Action FX Theater show Phantom Theater : Maestro's Revenge. It could be a computer simulated 3D movie just like Sponge Bob but it would be scary/more thrilling (Sponge Bob just seems kind of out of place). They could also theme the theater and it's surrounding area to something darker/creepy because as of right now there are still remnants of Days of Thunder with all the checkered flag graphics. Just some thoughts...

I like the rear end (re-reading that makes me think this thread has been named wrong). I have ridden last row on SoB and Beast pretty much everytime and am a better man for it.

It was a bit longer than normal since the short cut along the pond was obviously blocked off for construction. However, they did not remove the concession stand that was there... The rides after that goes as follows: Back Lot Stunt Coaster, SpongeBob, Racer (blue), AE, Flight Deck, KIMVRR (where most of those pictures came from), Vortex, Beast, Avatar, Scooby-Doo. Interesting photos: It's like playing Where's Waldo with the pink ribbons in the woods... There was an impressive lineup of vehicles... And either a new or still existing drainage system is in place which makes you wonder if they will refill the pond after construction is over... *EDIT* I resized the pictures as well as would like to mention that we saw Don Helbig with media and we were in front of Dane and CoasterRZ in line for Flight Deck but didn't say hi because we didn't think they recognized us from the KIC Event.

That's sounds delicious. My brother and I just had PB&J's in the parking lot. In other news, we saw Don Helbig walking from Coney Mall to International Street with what looked like to be a reporter and cameraman. We never did find out what station it was or see Don the rest of the day. He was probably explaining the necessity to have flower pots on large concrete cylinders.

This is true. Hopefully this is the case with the new ride, such as what CP did with Maverick (which is beautiful).

So you wouldn't be interested in this mat I made... I agree. A Jump 2, IMO, really wouldn't be the type of ride to fit in with the former lake area. It would make more sense to add it to X-Base. Not necessarily. By the time Maverick was announced, a good portion of the ride had already gone up. Or was the entire track up? I can't remember. I just know that a lot of track construction had been done before the announcement was made. Yeah, I couldn't see KI getting this much done already just to stop so people don't see that much construction. I think the construction throughout the year will give the park good press and bring some excitement to draw some people that may not normally visit (even before they announce it).

Actually the Wings Buffet only worked with groups of four. I did that once and the La Rosa's one once, both with 3 friends. Other than that, my friends and I either packed our meals or went to the other side of the highway for fast food. It wasn't that bad considering the money we saved.
