  1. I totally agree with ya, Skippy.
  2. If anybody has video of the park from this year, just general video shots...not any certain rides necessarily, and would be willing to allow me to use it in a year-end tribute, I'd appreciate it. Any video donations to the cause would be greatly appreciated, and I will credit those whose footage is used. Thanks
  3. There'd better be SOMETHING new in Action F/X next year...I'd be thrilled to see anything other than a Spongebob sign above the F/X entrance. ...and I hate hearing that song when getting off of Vortex. I feel sorry for the folks in Vortex photos.

I wish they'd do something with Boomerang Bay. It'd be fun to have to take the train over to a deserted area of the park with no rides running, and separated from the main park, only to have the bejesus scared out of you.
  5. You seem a little overly excited about these inflatable things Where does Klockster go on Sundays?
  6. Does anyone know if the only rides that will be running will be Top Gun, SOB, and FoF? I'm just wondering if it'll be worth the two hour trip to the park since they just announced this even in the newsletter, it'll probably be ungodly crowded, and with only a few rides open, it's bound to be a nightmare.
  7. I'm hoping to go...even though it's a two hour drive, it'd be worth it!
  8. Probably not real likely you'll get any sympathy tickets during September. It's one of those things that they plaster over everything: The park is closed during September. If it was some random day or weekend over the summer, when the park is usually open during that time, then it may be more likely you'd get a sympathy ticket.
  9. Wasn't there talk of Starbucks eventually selling some of the old French pastry shop items?
  10. pki.com/fearfest ...Now online
  11. Yeah, there were two official, pre-announced at the beginning of the year bring-a-friend free days. And then recently they had the Nick Parade special where passholders could bring a friend.... ...and I feel like I'm forgetting one. Also, thanks for the gold pass lot info. Wish I would've asked before the season ended
  12. I think this guy means ghetto :-\
  13. One question that I never really thought to get answered all year, regarding the Gold Pass lot: Is that lot the same as the premium parking area next to the RV/bus lot? If it is, do we have to pay the $20 or whatever to get in it, or is it just $9? (Note, I was an idiot and didn't have quite enough money at the beginning of the season to purchase a parking pass. If this affects my situation at all, please let me know)
  14. Yeah, I live right at two hours from the park, and I still find the passes very worth it. I went, as you can tell from my sig, 6 times this summer, as opposed to once the previous summer. The pass makes for a great excuse to go to the park.
  15. Yeah, the parks will put up their 2006 perks for their 2006 passholders sometime in mid- to late March. ..and congrats on the purchase! A most wonderful investment!
  16. Has anyone else been on the London Eye? It's not quite a ferris wheel, but it's pretty close. http://www.londoneye.com/ Got to ride it summer '04
  17. The area in the very south of HB land. Bi-planes and that kind of stuff in the area.
  18. Haha, I was going to say...why's he need to apologize
  19. Google Earth is a prorgram, TopGun. It can be downloaded at earth.google.com
  20. That'd be a good idea. I'd love an on-ride personal DVD of Beast, SOB, TR:TR, Delirium, Vortex, and Face Off. Okay...Just about anything would make me happy
  21. It's no problem....makes from some entertainment
  22. nah, Six Flags isn't asking for money for the park. They just need some ale to help satisfy Kieran Burke's drinking problem.
  23. Hopefully this revamp doesn't jack up our chances at next year's Golden Tickets. I'd hate to lose the title to another park, even if it's another Paramount Park. ...I doubt we'll lose the title because of the revamp, but it is always possible. I guess it's even more possible we could lose the title if we don't expand and revamp the kid's area.
  24. ...I actually really liked that little rock beat they had going through those speakers. 'Twas nifty, and very catchy.
