Looks like it's closed for July (and probably the season). This is my thinking too. I was hoping for the 2nd and 3rd...so if I wake up the morning of the 3rd, there's plenty of spots, and I can't reserve a time? That seems silly and even counter-productive to me.

Considering how poorly some people drive, this isn't exactly an inspiring comparison

not sure, but they've been open for 30 minutes now.

Plus there's always the possibility that not as many pass holders will reserve as they think, thus causing them to open up for more than one.

One active reservation at a time is...not quite a dealbreaker for us, but it certainly isn't ideal.

For what it's worth - Kings Island mirrored the hours for Worlds of Fun, except for July 4 (KI open one hour later). https://www.worldsoffun.com/explore/calendar-and-hours Also, going through their reservation system...there's a LOT of open spots. A LOT. Today is sold out, tomorrow there's 63 available, and every other day has hundreds.

Interesting. I assume there's no way they'd require masks on those rides.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
Their website (surprisingly) indicates that they don't expect any attractions in the park to be closed. I assumed at the very least that Whitewater Canyon and the log rides might be.

My understanding is that it'll be the standard barriers, with markings on the ground. But if people ignore those markings...there's not really any place to go to get away from that, obviously.

Right, I'm specifically referring to queues. You can't enforce this on the midway, obviously - that's unrealistic. But when you're in a queue...it's not going to be something an individual can just move away from.

But I mean ultimately...if they're not going to enforce rules as simple as social distancing in queues? They probably shouldn't be open, unfortunately. Yeah, your comfort is more important than the health of every other person. People with this attitude are the problem.

See, I can't agree with that. If parks aren't doing their part to enforce social distancing (which is even more important than masks), people need to know about that.

One thing that's helped me is a tip I learned from a friend - fold the upper part of the mask down slightly, pull the bottom down (over your mouth, as you normally would) and then put your glasses on. Reduces the fog for me significantly.

I would plan to bring extras. That's what we're doing.

Reservation system testing underway
Not to be that guy, but I've had both

Which of course will then defeat the purpose. Shifting gears...I'm pretty confident today is reservation day. 11 days before the park opens...which is when World of Fun's reservations went live.

You really don't understand how this virus works. It's also really sad to see "it's not my responsibility"...we should all care about public health and look out for one another. Also, there's absolutely no evidence of "immunity" with this virus whatsoever.
