  1. Then you should look at more data, because what I stated is fact. Indiana's positive test percentage has dropped every day for two weeks. We had 4 days this past week of less than 350 positives. Currently down to a 9.6% positive test ratio. Ohio is elevating, with over 900 cases a day recently - Indiana has barely had half of that. Not intending to turn this into an "Ohio vs Indiana" debate but to suggest that Ohio is somehow, at this point in the pandemic, showing better numbers is just a falsehood.
  2. Sure, if you look at overall numbers, that's the case. Look at numbers over the last two weeks - Indiana is trending downward, Ohio is trending upward.
  3. Unfortunately this is behind a paywall and thus can't be read. That being said... - this is one example, you stated there were "numerous". - every article I've read about this incident never stated that it was an outdoor pool party. Could've easily been at an indoor pool (hotel, etc) - I think a pool party isn't really indicative of a standard outdoor event, truthfully.
  4. Lol what? That's ridiculous. Our numbers are way better than Ohio's overall. We're one of only 6 states with decreasing numbers from the prior week. Can you provide evidence of this? Pretty much all the experts now are stating the relative safety of outdoors.
  5. Yikes. So yeah, it would seem their employees aren't even masked up. Very, very concerning. EDIT: Yeah, definitely nowhere NEARLY as extensive as Kings Island's plan is: https://www.indianabeach.com/covid-19
  6. Sigh. But the other day I'd get is now sold out. I figured that'd happen. Bummer.
  7. Even during the passholder preview?
  8. Hope you're planning on keeping six feet away from everyone.
  9. Well, the new owners of Indiana Beach are making a pretty disgusting first impression.
  10. So I mean...if that's the case parks shouldn't be open. If masks aren't even acceptable to use on a roller coaster...
  11. While I see the theory here - this clearly isn't the case or we'd know of outbreaks at parks that have already reopened.
  12. I mean, I think we all agree that there should be some sort of plan for the potential of Orion being a disaster in terms of social distancing, right? But what concerns me is that I think if there were a plan, we'd know about it by now...and we don't.
  13. It's a troll. This is concerning. CNN is stating that the majority of the spike is around Cincinnati?
  14. Yeah it looks like they're following the exact same schedule - KI put their hours/instructions up last Thursday as well.
  15. I maintain that I think Orion will be packed with long waits (especially after noon) and almost everything else will be no wait. Especially the first couple of weeks.
  16. That article recommending getting a sunset ride this summer on Orion. Pretty sure that's not going to happen for anyone.
  17. I don't know why people keep feeding the troll...
  18. Concur with all of the above. I could see them just shifting to something like a 5-12 schedule for Haunt, with everything open but no actual Haunts.
  19. If it weren't for the 2021 renewal I'd be pretty upset. But I'm just treating 2020 as a bonus on all fronts now.
  20. Hmm. I wonder if this is from cancellations, or adding more capacity?
  21. I just don't get it personally. If they hadn't extended the passes for 2021 I absolutely could see wanting a refund...but nobody's losing anything this way.
  22. I really wouldn't count on it personally. It's always possible they open, but I would say right now all signs point to no.
  23. I personally agree, but I'd almost think we would've heard about that happening by now if it were going to, being 9 days out from opening.
  24. Anyway.... Right, exactly. Plus another however many lining up to get inside the park half an hour later, plus rinse and repeat for the next 2-3 hours. Basically, if you want to ride Orion, you'd better have gotten a 10:30 or 11:00 time. Otherwise you're going to be waiting most of the day.
  25. It really seems like the only logical thing to do, honestly. You can't have 1700 people gathered at the entrance. That's just not going to work out well.
