  1. It's Florida. Beings that I used to live there gators will go in literally any body of water, including but not limited to swimming pools. A lagoon like that is perfect for one.
  2. It was Paramount not Cedar Fair, but, Premier Rides would like to disagree that KI doesn't experiment with new manufacturers.
  3. Last time I went (last Tuesday) the season pass line was also long. It went from the season pass building and curved to the right and went on for a ways.
  4. Also, different manufacturers from the get go.
  5. Almost as strange as a (once) bright red with yellow supports?
  6. If INTAMIN does one thing right it is its drop rides. Those things are workhorses and besides KI I don't know of any with extended downtime. Especially the Giant Drop models.
  7. Would the loose article policy protect the park in this case? There are multiple no loose article warnings at every entrance and the ride ops speil about it. I'd think they've done all they could short of frisking the guest.
  8. I'm kind of sad. I didn't get one
  9. I believe our long lost friend Arrow-Dynamics coined the term " Hypercoaster". Intamins calls theirs MegaCoaster and B&M is Hyper Coaster
  10. Honestly he is probably safer at Kentucky Kingdom than he would be walking down Wabash avenue. A place that he DEFINITELY has been and will continue to be in the future.
  11. I have no idea. I only worked in 2014 and T3 was still T2 and SBNO
  12. Vekoma's break themselves as well. Roller skater always messes up when the load changes from light to heavy and goes too far into the station causing a fault.
  13. When I worked at KK, they were referred to as "the Coaster Cookees" we were warned that they were coming and to be careful with their questions they were going to ask. It was ACE and TPR day 2014

The regular sized Enterprise at Kentucky Kingdom pulls decent lines. It always seems to fill up
  15. Food seems to be a big problem at many amusement parks. I don't know what these places can do to improve efficiency and speed without making the employees want to be there.
  16. Loser gets stuck at the top!
  17. Yes, it was sarcastic. Someone on YouTube acted as if we had a HUSS Top Spin No. 1 that was named Tomb Raider: Firefall
  18. After watching some prediction videos on YouTube, I have learned that Tomb Raider: Firefall used to be inside of the box in Rivertown and that it was a normal HUSS Top Spin.
  19. Did Terp just confirm an INTAMIN instillation? He said some will be shocked, that's about as shocking as I can think of.
  20. I now have an explanation! Beast Gal's Husband is the president of INTAMIN!. It's obvious! She's taking ownership now, it's "Her" cowboy coaster!
  21. Is that how they certify rides to operate there? Hop on and hope for the best?!
  22. No they do not, however when I was younger (about 12) my family DID drive 1.5 hours just for Splashin Safari. (And of course to see Pat, the nice old woman from the commercials)
  23. ^ Maybe you should check with Blue.
  24. Blasphemy! HUSS makes/made iconic attractions and every time one goes down is a huge loss. I'm still mourning the loss of all the HUSS Rainbows. (Topple Tower excluded, those are junk)
