  1. I think the next announcement concerns the box in Rivertown.
  2. Larger? I was under the impression that HallowSwings and Zephyr were exactly the same make, model, and size. That would be incorrect, Zephyr is a Zierrer WaveSwinger while HallowSwings are a Zamperla custom flying carosoul. They rotate in opposite directions from another and the HW version is slightly larger as far as I know
  3. I'm all for spinning rides but I find Zephyr almost disorienting. It is my opinion that it is too compact to be moving at the speeds at which it does. I find the larger Hallow Swings to be closer to relaxing than Zephyr is.
  4. They are located on the parks Snapchat. Edit: beat to the punch
  5. I don't think McClusky Chevrolet would be too happy if it saw step 2
  6. Currently driving through Nashville on my way back from Florida, I have seen several Kentucky Kingdom billboards along the highway!
  7. They also did Lightning Run and T3. They manufacture control systems for rides. So they can work with literally any manufacturer.
  8. A splash with INTAMIN? Holiday World would like to disagree. Their promised "splash" was a about as big as RFYLCB
  9. You may have missed it, but over by the Flying Scooters, there is still a Wiley coyote stamped into the concrete.
  10. look no further than Doswell VA for INTAMIN trims.
  11. All B&M restraints with the red seatbelt are the big boy seats
  12. Voyage did have a short wait and would have been quick had it not gone down while I was waiting. My biggest complaint for the day was 1 train on Legend, which was the longest line I waited in all day.
  13. Hmm I wonder how FoF is a Jokers Jinx clone when FoF was the worlds first LIM coaster. Your facts are mixed up on that one as JJ is a FoF clone.
  14. Me too, but there is no way the train is going away. It was packed this weekend transporting folks to and from Soak City. It's not going anywhere.Grit your teeth, bear the load, enjoy your ride...Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk And grab a Snickers
  15. My visit today was less than stellar, I won't go as far as to say it was bad but.... Wildebeest was down all day, Mammoth went down twice while we were in line, Crows Nest was closed all day (not that this one bothered me too much), and Voyage went down probably 5 separate times. I know technical difficulties happen, but it seemed today like I was at INTAMIN the amusement park.
  16. ^ Storm Chaser would like to disagree with your second point.
  17. Speaking of the Kingdom. As of last weekend, the crosswalk next to Enterprise that was formerly employee and wheelchair crossing only is now open to all guests.
  18. No. Mini Cooper is a sub brand of BMW much as Smart is a sub brand of Mercedes-Benz. The parent company was the sponsor of the coaster.
  19. Now now this isn't Six Flags Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk You're right, but Top Gun sponsored by Gillette and Itilian Job: Stunt track brought to you by BMW...
  20. I've never done SlingShot but have done SkyFlyer. I found it boring. It didn't seem very tall and was less than thrilling for me. However I did it when it was $5 tickets so no harm done
  21. In the seasons since the Outer Limits licensing left, I've still heard the exit spiel: "Thank you for participating in our... experiment. We now know what happens when the human body is pushed to..." *Crickets* The point is, that is decidedly better than a teen using the launch as comedy hour and ending with a "fake" countdown or a "Goodbye!" When I bring friends and try to sell the park (and in particular, certain rides) as a well-themed, Universal-style experience, the spieling typically hurts it. FoF still auto spiels as the empty train pulls into the station. "Please secure all loose articles, loose articles are not permitted. You may leave your items with an attendant, but we are not responsible for them. Remain seated with your back against the seat hanging on to the bar in front of you"..... "If you are the one experimenting on us, then why are you the one trapped in your seat?! Hahhahaa"
  22. ^ before Twisted Twins became Storm Chaser, it was fairly rough...
  23. But what if..... Huss Giant Top Spin Coaster!
  24. This has me hesitant to swim in Western lake this year on vacation, which I have done for years without incident, knowing full well there are gators somewhere in the lake. Although they usually stay far away.
  25. ^ He was referring to the policy change on the scooters, see other thread.
