Six Flags Great America - 7/5/12
That's because Iron Wolf is now Apocalypse:The Ride at Six Flags America in Maryland. I realize that. Let it be known that Iron Wolf was a beloved ride of mine. It still doesn't make sense as to how it hurts you, just stand higher than the bicycle seat!

I think Terpy's not posting in the What's Next for Son of Beast thread anymore.

Terp, you say that rules are meant to be observed. That does not mean that they are meant to be followed! Also, it was a poor attempt at a Terpism.

hoos? Really? Moving on..... 'Twas a Terpism.

Delirium's been down. Wonder hoos fault that is... However, Delirium has been making test runs, so it begs the question-- If a ride has gotten a new part, does the ride have to be inspected top to bottom by the Department of Agriculture, or is it free to run? If it has been making successful test runs, why hasn't it open? I have no idea what's up with Drop Tower. I think it could be something with the catch car (or whatever the proper term is for the thing that brings the gonola up the tower). When I went, I heard this buzzing sound when it would attach to the gondola, and when it started, it would somewhat falter while going up, like it was slowing down, then speeding up. I don't know if that made sense, my thoughts are hard to follow at times. But I can't really explain it any other way.

Six Flags Great America - 7/5/12
Is that OK?! Goodness, Terpy's putting me through so much stress, trying to think of a Terpy-Free question! Good thing he doesn't frequent Trip Reports too much!

Yes. Crypt, somewhat predictable.

Six Flags Great America - 7/5/12
Why all the hate towards Raging Bull? I absolutely love that ride (next to The Crypt @ Kings Island of course!)! When I went to Six Flags Great America, lines for everything were minimal, but I didn't get to do Viper, Whizzer, their train, etc. But noo! You didn't get to do Ragin' Cajun, King Chaos, Condor, or Triple Play? I adore those rides, though a little less than The Crypt. Condor was my first and only HUSS Condor, and Triple Play is super fun, as well as King Chaos. I'm also dissapointed that you didn't get to ride Iron Wolf. I found Demon's ending very cool. I like how it interacts with the train and the walkway, as well as the sound of the train coming to a stop and the brakes releasing. American Eagle was very fun, and I actually liked the queue for the ride. I just didn't like the fact that we lost. It also shares the name as one of my favorite clothing stores! Final Thoughts: I feel that the straight spike on V2 is better than Wicked Twister's spiral tower. It's a looong way down if you're in the back seat, and I find it more thrilling than that of Wicked Twister. Also, Superman breaks down a lot (can anybody explain why? Edited to keep the Terpy away--Why does it brake down often? What is the cause for Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great America breaking down often?), and is rather un-thrilling after the pretzel loop. Glad you had a great day! I hope I get to experience the park again, soon. It gives a new meaning of "a Six Flags day!"

How many of the rides at Kings Island have you ridden?
Forgot about SDaTHC! +1 Also, does Backwards Racer count? EDIT: TombRaiderFTW, I think early TR:TR (like in our avatars) and the late Crypt count as seperate attractions

Ah, but see, red doesn't age well. See Stormrunner, old Invertigo, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum, Steel Force, Mamba, or even Diamondback. But I do love that concept. I'm sure it could come to fruition should the park see fit. EDIT FOR BROWNTGGR: Well, then I should say that red fades very ugly, to a nasty pink!

Silver Dollar City 2013 Coaster
I much prefer that view than that of the head on version, because you can clearly see the direction of the track, where as head on, you have to guess "Ok, so is that where track is gonna go or...?"

7-5-12 A Hot But Amazing Day at KI and SC
Sounds like you had a great day. Glad you could enjoy the park! It was reported earlier in the season that there were bees (or bee's as the topic put it) at Boo Blasters, but that seemed to have gotten taken care of quickly.

Ooooh, cruel... I bet he was waiting to see how long it would take me to catch that!

How many of the rides at Kings Island have you ridden?
LOL, that's ok! I rode all of them when I was younger (and I've always been a Kings Island junkie, so I was never afraid), so those Planet Snoopy rides were pretty fun (still are!). In fact, on the day of the storms (last Friday), I went back in the areas of Planet Snoopy that I personally haven't been to for over 7 years. It was good to be back in the place where it started!

General Son of Beast Discussion
While on the subject of Son of Beast dreams, I've had 2! 1. Coasting for Kids had just happened in June, and it is now August of 2012 and we're having the Fall Coasting for Kids event! Except this year, it was spent on Son of Beast! So, after a complete revamp in about 2 months, we got on the green train. The train pulls out of the station, making a 180* turn to the left, then down a bunny hill, up to the lift. We climbed the lift, then down the predrop. Now here's the wacky part, all of Action Zone was gone. There was no Drop Tower, no Flight Deck, no Thunder Alley, nothing. Here comes the drop, but it turns into a nightmare right there. TRIMS! Anyways, we passed the upcurve into the rosebowl, and through the rosebowl, smooth as glass. They eliminated the MCBR, and added the loop! After the loop, however, the train makes a 90* banked turn to the right right into the brake run, and to the station. For some reason, every single tree between Son of Beast and Flight of Fear/Firehawk was cut down. As I was leaving, I ran into some KIC members. I also remember signing up for 2 new free programs. Food Loathers and Line Cutters! Food Loathers was where you got a T-Shirt with a ride on it (I got a Beast 25th Anniversary shirt) and you have a list on the back of how much more food will cost for you! Instead of $8 for a slice of pizza and a breadstick, it was now a mere $10! What a steal. And Line Cutters was Fast Lane. And well, I don't remember the other dream (something about it getting Iron Horse track).

Help!
Maybe it is only for a few people? I have no idea, as I'm getting in fine. EDIT: Nevermind, I'm not getting in anymore. Too many people trying to gain access to the server/Maintenence on the server?
