^I agree wholeheartedly. The Arrow coasters seemed to get drops right. B&M's? They go to a max point, then immediately start to flatten out. Vortex gets my stomach a little better than that of Diamondback.

I hope videogames never plague Kings Island again (Tomb Raider, technically). But really? Video games? That just sounds stupid to me.

What's your favorite moment on any ride? I would say I have 3 favorites. 3. Vortex's corkscrews. The hangtime is absolutely amazing. 2. Adventure Express' Gs. It has some strong laterals from the 1st lift-2nd. 1. The area from the MCBR-brake run on Flight of Fear. I love the short but sweet hangtime on the corkscrew, the highspeed turns around the floor, the teasing of changing directions after the MCBR (banked left, straightens out, banks left again,etc), and the overall roughness. EDIT: Can't believe I left this out! My other #1 favorite is a tie between Flight of Fear and The Crypt's hangtime in the controlled flips. I loved that you hung against the restraints. Side note- Behind The Crypt's former building, there's either a seat from the defunct gondola, or it's a test seat. But it's just sitting there, easily visible and identifiable from The Beast's brake run. Any thoughts?

You do, it's just very quick. I like the freedom from it (no headbanging), but it's just too quick.

Today at the park, I was riding the Red Racer. While we were waiting for our ops to check our restraints, the Blue Racer guy (I will not name fingers and point names) was trying to intimidate us Reds. Blue: Hey guys, you wanna intimidate Red? Don't scream or yell or any of that. We don't need that. Instead, as you're going up the lift, just stare at them. Dead. Silence. Red: You wanna intimidate Blue? On your way up the lift, scream AS LOUD AS YOU CAN.

Yes, I realize that. For the longest time, I didn't realize Vallejo isn't in Texas, but in Cali. If it wasn't for my friend who lives in California, I would still be believing it's in Texas.

Wow! Kings Island's Crypt was so amazing when it operated! It always had a line and was "a favorite among park guests"! Everyone here loved it in 2011!

I thought Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (where the new Premier launcher is opening--Superman) was in Texas...

I went to Kings Island today, and I saw people on Son of Beast's tracks! Furrealz! I kid, I kid. But ya know those blue pendants coming from the clock on the Kings Island Theatre? One of those was matched up with Son of Beast's track, and I looked up there all surprised, thinking it was SoB's blue train, to find that I was just being stupid.

Coming from a member that uses a name for a ride that no longer exists is rather funny. Well, technically the ride still exists. It utilizes the same name, different model, under a similar theme, at a different park!

^I firmly believe that Flight of Fear's corkscrew is slower than that of Kings Island's Vortex. Vortex @ Kings Island should have opened with lap bars instead of OTSR's. On a side note, I think that Flight of Fear just gets going again after the MCBR right as the final brakes hit. I think that's just a shame.

Adventure Express- The existing soundtrack... And the reprogramming of the driver's mic so as to allow the Station Master play! Flight of Fear- Keep the existing sound effects, and the on ride soundtrack. I absolutely love that, and I'd prefer it to stay the same! Drop Tower- Right now, you might as well use it for seasons to come. (anybody get that?) The Racer- How about that '70s music that was promised to us during the offseason? WindSeeker- Gosh, they can do so much with this, such as , or maybe even this.The Grand Carousel- A working organ that plays music. The Beast- There's been some music playing in the queues this year and last that's sorta been off and on, so let's get that working consistently. The same is true with the soundtrack on the lifts. I've been thrice this year, and I've only heard the music on the lifts once. But I would also change the lift music, back to when it was the Independence Day score. I loved how it would play throughout the whole lift, not just half. Backlot Stunt Coaster- In line, I'd to go with this. As for Halloween Haunt, I would use these: 1. 2. 5. 6. This one I think would make an excellent addition for our Haunt. It starts out very soft and low, and gradually crescendos for an epic finish to the piece. So, there's a hint at what I would use if I were to run the music department! PS- Cedar Fair should be able to play soundtrack scores through the in park speakers, right? Music copyright works differently than does theming rights (that's how we got Inception, and last Haunt season actually, Independence Day. Food for thought)

Firehawk's name fits to the X-Base area. The entrance and ride photo/exit area and the sign all seem to fit a government test facility (like Flight of Fear), so you can't really say that it isn't themed... It sorta is, but nowhere near Flight of Fear, or even Adventure Express.

I saw the same one for Kings Island the other night. I really like these new commercials, except for the fact that our rides aren't featured, and they're standardized...

Well there's no Crypt shirt that I saw (or it would be out of stock!), but other T-Shirts are somewhere around $20+! By now, it's exected.

Technically, you type, not write... But yes, Schliterbahn is quite simple to type out, that is if you can actually type. BB1, if it's so much of a bother to type out Schliterbahn, that's down right laziness right there.

^The whole back of the shop has stuff, probably from 2011 or ordered before they made the executive decision to shut my baby down, so it's all on sale. In contrast, the coins you guys got for CFK? Yeah, those are $4 a pop, or 3 for $10! It was worth the 10, though!
