  1. Who was wrong? MCCARTHYSNERD! Sorry, just had to say it... __________ I am so happy that there has been a decision. For better or for worse, it had to go, and now it is. Thank you, Don. I'm glad you shared the information with us. I patiently await awaiting plans.

    ^Or the front page!
  3. How about remove that Ugly Spindly Tower of Slings and move it to Action Zone, then replace with German stuff (or landscaping)? Oh, oh! And maybe throw in an arched sign similar to this one! And maybe something else German in Oktoberfest.
  4. Darn, was gonna say something about Fabio! Sounds bad, hope he recovers soon.
  5. Oh yeah, because a huge mondo thrill machine will fit in the space of Drop Tower. Definately.
  6. Well, if it was still there, it wouldn't operate.
  7. Well, then we'd have Cedar Point, Holiday World, Indiana Beach, The Beach, among other regional parks with which to entertain us.
  8. I especially love the part about The Crypt. I may be one of the most excited for the new Haunt. Even if it sucks like a couple other Haunts *cough* Tombstone Terrortory *cough* Mysteria *cough cough*, I'd still do it at least once every time I go, just to see Durga, the queue, and the lava pit. Like every other report you make, I say that this was no exception in saying that it was EXCELLENT! I am so glad that Delirium is back open after weeks of being down. Glad you had FUN! Thanks for posting!
  9. I'm looking for some help on things with buildings. That's like half the project, LOL. I will incorporate the supports information in there in place of another page.
  10. It wouldn't matter if they had a time machine. They can't go to Fear Fest in 2012 because the time machine would take them back to a year in between 2000-2007, when it was actually called Fear Fest.
  11. Honestly, I didn't think about supports for rides. Could this be expanded further to track differentiations? Thanks, dudecoasterman. There are several reasons why it's hard [for me at least]. I have to keep out what kind of food they serve, what kind of ride experience it had to offer, theming, etc. It has to be based solely on structures and designs. I'm not very good with writing, so it furthers my problem. My journalism is nowhere near many posters' abilities.
  12. So. For this summer camp thing I'm attending, I have to make a free website about Structure and Design. So naturally, I chose Kings Island, thinking "Hey, Kings Island has a crap load of buildings, this should be easy!" Well, it's not. I try typing up things that sound structure and designy, but it just comes off as a stretch. I really don't have much time to start over on a different topic, so that's out. Does anybody have any suggestions? I've really hit a roadblock here... Oh, and please nobody Terpy me! Thanks, Crypt

I've noticed some new cutouts in the building this year. Is the rat new, and did that skeleton in the kitchen/library thing always have a neon orange iPod? I also think the timing from Boocifer in the final scene is faulty. It starts too late/early.
  15. Since when do race cars create huge waves of water? Even Formula One will stop the race if there's that much water on the track. Well Backlot Stunt Coaster used to have water. Well Backlot Stunt Coaster used to have has rust because of the water.
  16. So this is where our society is heading.
  17. Or if you're Carowinds, 25.

    Heck no! Those restraints hurt.
  19. I definately agree with you. The new Luminosity stage looks so awful, it looks like Paramount installed it!
  20. Super Late Reply! My school system is all public. I think one of the reasons my school hasn't been retrofitted to the current ADA Regulations is because it is all stairs. There are about 7 stairwells in my school, and to make ramps fit in a 3 story building, plus remove the asbestos, bring everything up to code... Well, I guess it would be cheaper to completely scrap a 100+ year old building and start anew.
  21. So you know now? -- Riding Drop Tower last Friday: "That's for Great Wolf Lodge because it says Timberwolf."
  22. No matter how many people may complain that the dry park hasn't gotten a HUGE MONDO THRILL MACHINE!!!!!!, Soak City is really due for a new water slide. When was the last time they got a slide, 2004? When was the last time we got an attraction in the dry park? 2011? 1 year versus 8 years [for a waterslide]. I'd be happy to see Soak City get a couple more water slides in the coming years. Let's hope it's that.

    Cyclone? Zippin Pippin?

You beat me to it............ Anyways this was told by the dippin dots guy I guess. Obviously the possibility of that is less than the possibility of BB returning at any time, or better yet the Crypt....... Cruel... I had a dream The Crypt returned, but it was a swinging ship...
  25. That ride would offer both amazing air time, and impeccable head banging.
