I was just noticing that Valley Fair seems to be differiteiated from other Cedar Fair parks in that it has no Peanuts themeing. How long has this park been owned by the chain does anyone know? I was thinking maybe if the Nick themeing is to venture outside of the former Paramount parks this may be the first park we see it at. Anyone have any comments?

Tomb Raider was amazing when all the themeing was working it wasnt really meant to be as thrilling as other top spins, maybe the new program will change that.

And hopefully for this year Crypt will get a new program.

Thanks for the info I always wanted to ride Volcano and I never got to ride King Cobra so Shockwave sounds good to me as well and of course Dominator or i guess Batman was my favorite ride at GL. I am however said I never got the chance to ride Hypersonic XLC.

I go to KI and CP on a regular basis each summer (KI more) but I have also been to Knotts Berry Farm. I have never been to another CF park although this summer Im gonna try to go to KD and MAYBE even CW. Is KD a park worth going to?

I totally agree!!! Lucky for me I live right inbetween Kings Island and Cedar Point so i have yet to get sick of either one. And I have no problem spending a whole day at KI.

Maybe we'll get a new ride program for tomb raider... er.. i mean the crypt. Thats something right?

Yay roller coaster rumors Im excited. Its sad we get NOTHING this year, im pretty sure we're the only CF park to get nothing.

That is sad, Im just really curious to see whats going to happen, supposedly bids on the land are due March 23rd i believe so I guess we'll be finding out fairly soon

yes but its possible they are working in conjuction with a company who is buying the land and wants to save part of the park?

I don't know could be interesting to see, even if they do just save the big dipper.

I am a regular reader and poster on some GL forums and I have read a few things lately that have spiked my interest. More than one person has posted about a "surprise" coming to the former ride side of the park. According to reliable sources CF will NOT be selling the land for future condo or real estate development and that there will be a surprise in store that should make everyone happy? Let me know what you think or what you've heard

I could be wrong but Im pretty sure the standard name for these rides is "Invertigo" just like the standard names for the regular ones such as "Head Spin" is Boomerang
