How would G-Trains compliment The Beast though. I've ridden the villian but I don't really remember, would they make the ride more comfortble or less, or would it really make a differnce?

According to a lot of speculation on the GLToday forums Kings Island already has all three Villain trains and the former Legend train on site. And that the Villain trains are for Beast and the Legend train will be to give SOB a third. Does anyone think this is true/false or can anyone confirm/deny this?

No it's confirmed, Vortex is sinking, I have a very reliable source that tells me its a good 5 inches shorter than last year.

For some reason, I believe that steel suports on a wood track ruiens the feel of the ride. Maybe when the move it down here they'll rebuild it with wood suports so it'll be smoother! And, anybody could buy KI and I wouldn't care. (Even SF! ) How dare you! Bite your tounge! SF are you serious?

Looks fun at first but since its the same thing over and over it would get boring. I like top spins that have good backwards upside down drops, like Texas Twister did.

Ill say this again like ive been saying it over and over! Maybe Six Flags should fix up the parks before they add more rides!!! Every six flags park i've been to just has no personality and feels soo lifeless. Magic Mountain has some of the best coasters Ive EVER ridden, yet Id never want to go back there based on the state of the park. Also I thought when Mark Shapiro first took over he said something like the future of amusment parks is NOT thrill rides, and that they wouldnt be spending million on roller coasters anymore.

This is soo sad, but it seems there is still a lot of conflicting rumors as to whats going where, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Sounds like a plan to me! Although ill hopefully be there to ride it in Canada as well.

Maybe instead of petitioning to not close the park a petition to allow patrons one last day in the park, or one last chance to ride big dipper or something would be more effective, its better than nothing.

I agree Dominator is a good ride, but KD is a good park as well and they are losing Hpersonic XLC so they need a good ride to replace it. Also with a bunch of other parks getting the used rides it makes it much more likely we'll see a nice new ride made just for KI in '09.

Honestly the way the article it worded it sounds more like they are just saying Kings Island is another CF park. BUT I would love to see KI get the ferris wheel from GL it was pretty nice one, and KI needs one. Maybe Time-Warp as well?

Sh*t happens, things in life change get used to it, I still blame Six Flags for the downfall of the park, not CF.

You also forgot Wyandot Lake Except Wyandot is being replaced by a new park on the same site that's twice as large, and much higher quality, so I wouldn't consider it "defunct." Except they keep changing the plans to make them less and less impresive and less expensive. AND I grew up going there so it's very sad to see it go, back in the 90s under FunTime Inc it was ranked as one of the top waterparks in the country, they invented the water playground with the giant bucket, then six flags bought it, and thats why it went to hell.

I wish theyd make a coney section of the park where the 3D movies and crap were, with the Swings, and a scrambler, and tilt a whirl, etc, and of course the big dipper and double loop. (though I know it wont happen im still dreaming)

Six flags is the one that ruined it, not CF. CF was at least able to make it survive as a waterpark, if it had stayed under Six Flags it would be all gone by now.

I do agree with the water jets, so many top spins have water jets now except poor ol' TRTR

Ok everyone is talking about adding a new dive coaster or B&M floorless or whatever but how about this? Inbetween KI and The Great Wolf Lodge what if CF built a challenge park (similar to that of CP). They could build a mini-golf course, new go-karts that are actually good, and move the skyflyer and slingshot rides. This would be a great money maker because they could have it placed so you didnt need to be in the park to enjoy the attractions, so lodge patrons could participate on days they dont have admission to the park. Also if this were to be done think about slingshot, if it was moved there would be enough room there for a good flat (also considering behind it use to be KC theres a good amount of room there.

Nah thats not true, ive seen people build like the magic kingdom with no lag.
