OMG this is sooo sad, what is the future of the Big Dipper and Double Loop? Such classic coasters, i really hope thety dont just scrap them, that would be a sad day.

The problem is GL doesn't have the best up keep. Once they move it to CP id expect it to be a pretty popular ride.

No it wouldn't, and theyd never do it and Ill tell you why. The current waterpark is i believe the 4th location for the water park in the parks history, they have had 3 different wavepools at 3 different locations, i think 1 or 2 pervious lazy rivers, and countless waterslides that have been moved around and torn down, if you look up satelite images you can even see the old discuting falling apart waterpark that used to be on the dry side. Also to answer your question the waterpark is actually very nice, one of the best lazy rivers ive ever been in nice wave pool, and its always been fairly busy on the waterpark side when ive been there even if theres NO visitors on the dry side.

Um sea world is gone, and is now the Wildwater Kingdom section of GL. Sea World and GL used to be on opposite sides of the same lake. So my guess is that what used to be GL will be all gone, and what used to be sea world will be just a CF water park.

Hmm its ranked as one of the best run Huss Top Spins, also apparently CF thinks its pretty good since they are supposedly moving it to CP.

Western themeing would be good, but instead of calling it Maverick how about Texas Twister in memorial to the huss top spin at GL

I think they will try hard to bring good themeing to it, thats what made it an awesome ride, as far as top spins go the program itself was horrible. I rode it once with no audio and it was the most boring ride ever.

Now ive heard they are actually removing more than Dominator. They may also remove Head-Spin, thunderhawk, and texas twister all to be re-located, and the observation tower will be scrapped. So my guess is summer 08 will have a small dry ride side and by '09 they will relocated maybe the classics to the other side of the lake and sell off the old dry side and parking lot.

My guess is this: Yes it will be there for the 2008 season, what I hope will happen is it will have new themeing, a new name, and a new program. Hopefully the q-line themeing will be back up as well so the wait is just as fun as the ride like it used to be. This used to be one of the best themed attractions Ive ever been on and I wish it would go back to that!

It seems to say to me that you can redeem it at KI as soon as they start processing, not 2008.

OOH Yeah! I remember days of thunder back when I was like 6, I remember getting scared because the q-line goes by The Racer I was convinced my dad was lieing to me and trying to get me on The Racer.

Has anyone heard any rumors yet? Ive heard Dominator is going to Kings Dominion.

Or dueling dragons at Islands of Adventure would be sweet as well. Thats my favorite inverted coaster ever!

Where did this rumor start from? Why get rid of Dominator from GL. I mean I think GL is doomed just like everyone else but has anyone actually heard anything from a even somewhat reliable source?

Im still excited to see if TG will get a new paint job and the original name Thunder Road or Run or whatever it was supposed to be, maybe some themeing? Fog again?
