  1. Then again, I don't think many people would be up to riding Sob, and going near 80 mph with the windchill factor below zero. That would only be painful.
  2. Were you there when that lady was crying her eyes out after the frisbee ride came to an end and they had to call the medics? I seen that it had a bigger crowd gathered around it than normal so I knew something was up. I was walking towards the show when all of that was going on. Yep, I was working exit at that time, so I kinda got the brunt of hers and her boyfriend's anger. But it all worked out well. I have complete faith in the managers and paramedics at pki.
  3. I would have loooved to go to the concert, but found myself stuck working duhlee at the time. Sorry I couldn't be there, guys!
  4. Ugh, tomarrow for me. Back to 'walnut hills hell hole'.
  5. That has happened before in other places, too. I remember watching the California news and they reported the same thing happening in a children's play area. (I can't remember if it was a children's museum or Chuck E Cheese).
  6. I wore a pink t-shirt and khakis (while shleping my work shirt). I hung out with a lot of people, so chances are, everyone saw me.
  7. Cyber sez- when it was working, I barely saw anyone do it. I personally think it's a waste of space.
  8. Too bad you missed meeting me, I was at a different ride that day. (probably somewhere you wouldn't expect to see me). Good TR. TRTR is always a fun ride when you have the time.
  9. Wow, it's gone. How did that happen?
  10. Not just that, but when SB is the cause of the explosion/mass injury, you hear someone screaming "My leg!". That just might be only in the TV show, though.
  11. ...and I could be a bad guy.
  12. Interesting TR. Looks like there were a bunch of ride ops that ticked you off. Sorry about that. You should see me while I'm working, I'm a pretty nice person. Its a shame you caught Jeremy at a bad time, he was a really awesome sup. But as for the yellow line business, it IS standard procedure that we keep ALL guests behind the yellow line throughout the cycle, even if you know that you won't hurl yourself over the gate. Sorry.
  13. As an employee at pki, I'd say that bites. I would really not want to work there, if I couldn't enjoy the employee benefits when I'm off the clock.
  14. So THAT's why I could have sworn I saw you today. I was sent to HB doing Reptar for the first few hours before the parade. Then I hung out around AZ outside employee attire.
  15. Delirium is at the top of my list, next to slingshot (for obvious reasons). Actually, Fof is number three, because I love LIM coasters. One of my best experiences on working Delirium was my second day there. I met Chef and he showed me some pics of little chef. ( which was a few days after chef jr. was born.
  16. They've always been red. The pic in my avatar is just an artist's rendering of what it might look like at pki, it was on the pki.com website until they got real pictures of the ride.
  17. I don't think they go through AZ. But they do go through Rivertown and HB. I'll have to see it when I'm not working, or when I get sent somewhere in the vicinity.
  18. I have to agree, Schindler's List would be the worst movie for pki to name a ride after. As for Breakdown, that should be TR:TR's new name.
  19. Actually, it's pretty funny. I've done that spiel maybe once while I was over at recaR. Some guests think it's hilarious. It is just not what they were expecting.
  20. I would have them not sell beer inside the park. And arrest anyone that smokes in HB. That is just plain wrong. I have worked rides where people come on drunk, and their judgement is all screwed up, and they act like dorks(or they barf all over the place). And I've seen people blow smoke in little kids' faces in HB. That should be one place that is smoke free. Do it for the kids.
  21. I don't know all the words to the song, but it's better than the dancing cats. You just have to love crazy people dressed up as bumblebees tap dancing in an orange and black tutu. It's not saaaane, it's not saaaaaaaane. ... I'll always be there when you're away...
  22. I noticed when I rode, that the skeleton leaning forward, and the spears pointing from the wall and ceiling were not working. I know the fog hasn't worked for a while, but did they change this as well?
  23. For me, it's in between King Cobra and Skylab.
  24. Yeah, Dane here has a pretty good picture of what it looks like. ^ Basically, if you do intend on coming, do not plan on riding many rides, because the lines are super long.
  25. About 30-45 minutes, and hour at most, depending on traffic.
