  1. Did anybody manage to make it out there on Sunday? The crowds weren't that bad, and I was there along with a *special* guest from Beast working on Delirium.
  2. Awwww, you should have ridden TRTR. It was barely even full after 10. I was there from around 4-midnight.
  3. You forgot to mention who you met there... (hint hint) Your wife is really pretty, and it was awesome seeing you again.
  4. I wish I could say the same about these attractions, but my nerves kept me from doing any of them. (and this is coming from a person who cried on their first ride on darkride). Sorry guys, but it was awsome to finally meet you, Hoskins!
  5. I know I'll be working in the park on the 3rd. I should most likely be working either Delirium or SS.
  6. SOB is and always will be rough on everyone. That's just it's nature. But here's a good tip: if you don't want to get shaken around that much, enjoy the ride from the first or second seat of the first car.
  7. Na na na na na, na na na na na, na na na na na nah... Great, now this is going to play in my head forever.
  8. The smell of seafood from Bubba Gumps, mulch, fresh voban, garbage(sometimes), funnel cakes, grease, grilling meat from Stunt Crew, fresh chips from the Chippery...
  9. I've seen lots of weird stuff, so I won't even go there. *If you do happen to catch a female ride op singing or dancing at slingshot or Delirium, it's probably me.
  10. Looks like an OSU basketball floating in the water.
  11. I didn't believe my dad when he called me and told me that he saw it in the park, but now that I've heard it from two parties, it has to be true. I don't know why anybody would do that. I unfourtunately was not in the park at all yesterday, so I didn't get to see it.
  12. I was in the park for Saturday morning and all day sunday. I was all over AZ on Sunday, so you would have to be pretty lucky to have found me.
  13. When someone takes your seat, and you're by yourself, you might end up sitting elsewhere on the ride. But, if you came in a group and someone else is sitting in your seat with your group, we can move some people to accomodate you. The seat numbers are usually not random. It sometimes depends on the person who is giving them, but usually we count in order. (I tend to count backwards, but that's just me) Sometimes if you forget your seat number, ask the person in front or behind you what theirs was, and you could figure it out from there.
  14. It's all assigned. And just a reminder PLEASE remember your seat numbers. It does get a little annoying when you were given a seat number, and you find someone already sitting in it, who has forgotten theirs. (it's happened to me a few times.)
  15. I normally do the very back, but that's only on steel coasters. I learned the hard way that the best place to sit on wooden coasters is in the front. Or at least, that's the way it is on Beast and SOB.
  16. yeah, if you think that proportions may be a problem at Delirium, try the test seats in front of the ride next to the greeter box. If there are kids playing in them, and you want to try them out, you have a right to ask them nicely to get off so you can use them. But there are sometimes when guests are not appropriately proportioned enough to fit on some rides. Tomb Raider The Ride also has test seats in front.
  17. This year, when I'm there, I'm usually working. But when I'm just visiting, I start in AZ, make sure I ride everything there, make my way through coney(stop by festhaus to play DDR) and end up in RVT. TRTR is usually my last ride.
  18. Yes. And it was mission impossible. Anybody remember the film in the Action 180 theater? Yeah, wasn't that where the lazer tag place is now? We all sat on the floor and watched a video of the rides at pki?
  19. I remember watching it. Wasn't it musical, too?
  20. If you rode Delirium in the afternoon (towards closing) or walked by skyflier you might have seen me.
  21. It's a shame I didn't get to see that, but I was having a blast at skyflier then...(insert sarcasm here)
  22. Actually, Ryan here is right. Sometimes even I don't know where I'll be. But everyday I start in the same place-and by looking at my user name, you know where that is. If I'm not at Delirium, I may be at Slingshot. If I'm not there, ask my crew where I am. They'll most likely know. I'll be working all day tomarrow, so you guys may be seeing me at least once. BTW- my name's Ariel.
  23. Um... that's suicide. He'll cream you.
  24. I have to agree with Brad here, this guy FLIES on the pad.
  25. I'll be there, but I'll be working.
