  1. Do people that don't have Gold Passes consider Speed Pass Tickets cutting in line? It is a ticket with a designated time on it that allows you to ride the ride without waiting in line. It was a perk that Paramount offered to their season pass holders that was free. All the other parks have them why not KI?
  2. Relocate the antique cars somewhere else in the park and add a better track. IJST is a great addition to KI and it's very cool with the theming and fire. I love this coaster. It's one of my favorite rides at KI and I ride it every time I visit.
  3. Another perk gone this stinks. I'm sorry I don't like changes and all this at once is bothering me. The former Paramount parks we're one of my favorite chains. I have visited all the former Paramount parks except Great America and I liked all of them equally. All the parks had nice theming, scenery, and very good rides. I hope Cedar Fair doesn't destroy the parks by not keeping the Paramount rights and theming for rides. How many other people are upset about the changes that Cedar Fair has made already at the former Paramount parks? I know I can't do anything about it so I guess I will have to get used to new management and changes in store for Kings Island. From now on I will refer to PKI as KI because it's not Paramount anymore. I will miss Paramount owning the parks. I like theme parks better then amusement parks and this will never change.
  4. I heard a rumor that Reserved parking and VIP parking is going away next year is this true?
  5. Why has Mr Freeze been closed all season at Six Flags St Louis? Are they planning on fixing the ride or removing it?
  6. PCWL now has Maxx/Maxx Pass Plus passes on website for sale. PGA still has no MPP pass.
  7. I as an adult like Hanna Barbera but the children love Nickelodeon. I would like to see a combination of both of them in the Paramount parks.
  8. Paramount please buy Paramount parks back. We miss you!
  9. I think people will be saying remember when Paramount owned the parks it was such a nicer park with movie theming, season pass perks, good shows and parades, we want Paramount to buy back the parks. We miss our Paramount parks.
  10. I haven't rode El Toro yet but The Son of Beast , The Voyage and The Beast, and Hades are the best wooden coasters in the USA in my opinion. I wouldn't say that wood are better then steel because I like what steel can do. I like wood and steel coasters equally.
  11. I feel the zoo needs to take the old slides out and replace them with newer tube slides. I visited this year and the slides were old and stained brown from water. We'll see what goes up for sale in a few months. I hope they have a day pass when they reopen that includes the zoo and water park and I also hope they have a season pass.
  12. PGA has announced season pass prices. They have a regular pass that includes Bonfante Gardens/PGA for $65 and a MP which includes all parks and only California water parks for $99.95 They have no Maxx Pass Plus Pass. PCWL- still doesn't have a MP or MPP pass. WOF- Has 5 pass options Oceans of Fun-$75 WOF-$75 OOF&WOF-$105 Maxx Pass-$75 Maxx Pass Plus-$150
  13. Has there been any construction at the park this season? Cedar Fair has already announced 2 additions for next year. 1 at CP-Maverick and 1 at Valley Fair- Renegade. DP got a new wave pool 06', WWK got a wave pool 06', MA-Water Rapids ride 06'. VF-swing 06', CP-swing o6' , WOF-Patriot Roller coaster in 06'. We will have to be patient and wait for the announcement if they are going to add anything we'll know soon. I would like to see more inner tube slides added to the water park or a master blaster watercoaster added. I also would like a sit down restraunt opened preferably on I-Street overlooking the falls that offers a buffet/menu option. I also would like a campground brought back to Kings Island. I mostly want Son of Beast to reopen for 2007. This is my wish for 2007.
  14. What's going to happen with the zoo in a few years and what's their plans? I haven't heard anything about this only in ACE did they mention getting an indoor waterpark and Sea Dragon might be gone.
  15. Why isn't the zoo opening Wyandot Lake next season? I thought they already bought the park? Why is the park being listed for auction? What are they auctioning off?
  16. Why is Wyandot Lake listed on Six Flags website still if the zoo owns it now?
  17. Festhaus Suggestion:Add some German music to it, sell German food and have Octoberfest in September like some other parks have. Why close to the public/SP holders in September they could have picnics and be open to public in September. I would prefer it to be a sit down restraunt then a food court. Also I would like to I-Street restraunt looking over the falls reopened and turned into a full service/buffet restraunt again. It was a very nice place to eat when it was open before.
  18. I wasn't aware of this. I thought (Fear Fest) was included in season pass prices. Why are they a seperate charged event? Fear Fest looks awesome this year I can't wait to go in October.
  19. On Cedar Point's website under the Maxx Pass/Maxx Pass Plus area. You aren't allowed to attend Halloween events at PCWL, PCW, and Knott's. Are they going to change this or have these always been seperate charged events? The only ones you can attend without paying extra are PKI, PKD, VF, CP, WOF, and DP. Essentially they are telling us the season ends in September and Halloween is extra. I hope that they change this because that would stink if we had had to pay extra for Halloween events if we had a season pass prior to 07' and bought it with the intention the season was until the end of October. They did this to GL pass holders this year. Last year we had a Halloween event at Geauga Lake and they cut out Halloween this season and didn't give us a discount for the season pass. I hope they don't do this again with PKI or the other parks that have Halloween events.
  20. Disney World has alot of other attractions besides coasters and it's my favorite chain of parks. I love Disney. I visit there as often as I can. I'm just stating that I feel Dolly Wood isn't worth the money in my opinion.
  21. Clarification to Season Passes? What water parks are considered seperate admission? Why are Cedar Point and Geauga Lake including all parks/water parks in the Maxx Pass Plus pass. The only seperate water parks are Soak City at Cedar Point, Oceans Of Fun, and 3 Soak City parks in Calif. $65 for parking at a park that's only open 4 months isn't worth it. If you're going to buy a sticker you better buy it now before prices go up.
  22. cstrwomann replied to Jasper's topic in Kings Island
Fear Fest is a great event! Be thankful your home park is open in October and has a Halloween event. If people don't attend the event and spend money at the parks in October they just might close the park in September. Geauga Lake and Michigan's Adventure are closed for the season already.
  23. I haven't rode KK or SR yet I was just curious if the OTSR's are cumbersome or if they hurt your head like the old style do?
  24. I prefer bigger parks with more rides. I haven't been to Dollywood in years and I was checking out the website and I was shocked when I saw the prices. I don't know if I would pay this price for 4 rides. Busch is justifiable. They have excellent coasters and great shows. Thunderhead might be #1 but I feel The Voyage is a far better coaster then Thunderhead. What is so special about Thunderhead? What records has it broken? What does it do special? It looks to me just like a normal twister coaster nothing special - ordinary/plain. I just visited 2 small parks this summer and the average price for their admission was $25-$30 for 4 coasters.
  25. This sounds like a good addition for Valley Fair. This sounds like Kentucky Rumbler again. I hope they got the ok from Styx to use the name Renegade.
