Canada's Wonderland is one of the most prettiest parks I've been to. The rides are good also. They are dumb if they sell this park.

I'm upset that they are selling Darien Lake. I would have rather seen Mexico be sold or LaRonde how many people from the USA visit these parks? I hope they don't sell anymore parks and they can recover from their debt now and improve the parks they have left. I live in Ohio and I don't fly very often to parks so I've been to 9 of their parks and my favorites are SF GAdv-NJ, SF GAm-Ill, SFGa, SF Am-Md., SF St. Louis, SFKK, SFDL, SF Ohio, and Wyandot Lake. I still would like to visit Tx, Calif., and Mass.

$312 million for 7 parks isn't very much money when they were in debt 2.5 billion. What's going to happen to these parks now? Will they be open in 07? Will people be able to use their season passes and still visit them this season? Are these parks going to fade away like Astroworld? Who is PARC Management?

The Son of Beast will reopen this season. They are doing everything to fix this coaster and hopefully it will be open in April.

I just hope Son of Beast reopens in April 2007. I will miss the loop but if it saves the coaster from being torn down then we can say it's for the better. It was great to ride it with the loop but it caused the coaster to crack due to the weight of the trains and lighter trains won't make it through the loop according to what I've read. Sonny will be a new coaster this year and a new credit for enthusiasts so expect alot of people to come to the park this season and they should rename it since it no longer has a loop.

If they close a park and make it only a water park they have to move the coasters somewhere. If Ohio doesn't have a floorless or flying coaster they will go to a park that has one because they are used to riding them at their home parks and they will miss it.

My opinion is to replace the trains and keep the loop. Are there any pictures of the coaster without the loop on the web for proof? Maybe they are just bluffing about removing the loop to see what everyone's response will be.

I just hope that they aren't going to take out Son of Beast for this coaster. After all they haven't said that it will be open for Opening Day. I hope PKI get's X-Flight because it's a great coaster but I hope they get it next year and not this year. They were having alot of problems with it at GL. It was always breaking down. I hope they can fix the problems with it and retheme the area and give it a new name if PKI is getting it. Only time will tell if PKI is getting it.

Why did they remove the loop? The Department didn't order it to be removed did they? This was the key element in SOB that made it different from all other coasters. I'm disappointed by the removal of the loop. Are they going to change the trains? I hope it's open on opening day in April. I missed it all season last year and it was my favorite wooden coaster.

I would like to see PKI add more coasters for variety. I would like to see a hyper coaster , flying coaster, floorless coaster , impulse coaster , launch coaster , and a inverted coaster added to the park. Also I would like a campground added and more enclosed/open tube slides in the water park.

If they are going to take out the loop why not replace it with a tunnel or something out of the ordinary so it is different then other coasters.

I think a campground will return but not by FOF. I think the campground could be behind Beast or by the water park. They need to accomadate all people not just people who stay at expensive hotels with water parks.

I enjoy X-Flight much better then Superman at other parks because you go up the lift hill on your back and you can't see where you are going until it flips over at the top. I hope those who haven't rode X-Flight agree this is a coaster worth being saved. I hope that KI get's it only time will tell.

I wish they would have announced this in October. I bought my Maxx Pass Plus Pass at Kings Island to get free parking and I bought a GL and CP parking pass alredy are they going to give me $20 back off my credit card and one parking decal?

In the past Kings Island has gotten rid of a ride in order to put in a new one. As much as I like X-Flight I would hate to see Son of Beast torn down for a flying Vekoma coaster. I don't think MIA will get the coaster because they are a small park and mostly water park and they have a similar season as GL.

It's a pretty boring logo. I like the old logo better.

This poll doesn't explain what they mean by sickest coasters? Why don't they say best coasters? Cedar Point has 16 coasters and Busch only has 4 coasters and Busch is number #1. I think this poll is biased. I voted but I voted incorrectly for the first answer. I thought the ? meant which park has the worst coasters.

In a earlier post they gave a hint that if someone zoomed in on the loop they would notice a difference. Did they remove the loop? I hope that they didn't do this but I guess we will have to wait until 07' to find out. I hope that it reopens in the Spring when I go to get my season pass renewed. I want to be one of the first people to ride it. I missed riding it all season last year. I only got to ride it in May and July before the accident. The park wasn't the same without it being open. When I visited in October for Beast Bash Maureen mentioned something about the trains maybe being changed or redone. I hope they change them to something safer and more comfortable and I hope they didn't change the coaster design in anyway.

I bought a parking pass for CP this weekend and I'm going to get my Maxx Pass Plus pass from KI this weekend. I'm still waiting on GL to send my voucher for parking.

How many haunted houses do they have? walk throughs? Shows? Is it possible to do it all in one day?

I disagree with you on this issue. I thought season pass holders were special to the parks because they visit the parks frequently and spend money at the parks. This was a nice perk I thought to be able to park up front in a special lot.

I have been to 72 different parks and I have 3 states left that I want to go to. California, Texas, and Mass. If they don't have the rights from Paramount they can't keep the theming for the rides. I was never at the old KI so I don't know how it was in the early days before Paramount bought it. I like the park the way it is now and I don't want it to change.

I was shocked at first when I heard Cedar Fair had bought the Paramount parks. When they purchased the parks they said they were going to keep everything like it was and you wouldn't see any changes right away. The first thing they did that concerned me was cancelling Winterfest. The next thing they did that bothered me was change around season passes for the former Paramount parks. I thought that they would sell a pass for the Paramount parks and a pass for Cedar Fair parks but I was wrong. They sold a regular pass for each park and a Maxx/Maxx Plus pass and got rid of all the perks that we had gotten used to. Now they are talking about not keeping the Paramount rights for the parks. This is really bothering me KI is one of my home parks and I don't want them to come in and get rid of the movie theming, rename rides, and destroy the park. I hope this doesn't happen only time will tell. Another thing I don't like is they don't offer a parking pass anymore like they have in the years before for people who don't have a season pass. Cedar Fair is going to make people angry by doing these things and they won't visit the parks.
