  1. Agreed, Call the Rides Department and let them know whats going on. They will look into this and find out the information that you need.
  2. FYI FOR EVERYONE IJ will be doing the ticket reservation system until sometime in early June. Make sure you get your tickets early in the morning because we have been known to run out of tickets as early as 5:00pm.
  3. I do not see them removing The Racer. It has been there since the park opened. Why take out something that still gets a good crowd and great capacity.
  4. Its fine that he asked, if you dont know something you ask a question, its that simple. Im just saying that employees are not allowed to disclose information on here without their job being threatened.
  5. What are you talking about?
  6. MarketingExpress replied to Jasper's topic in KI Polls
You forgot that AE has themeing too.
  7. Maybe they are factoring in Loading and unloading times in that.
  8. If you don't know then don't ask
  9. a brake at the top of the helix??? Are you kidding me?
  10. they were at the ride at about 950.
  11. Actually the reason it was busy Sunday was not only because it was Mother's Day. It was also bring a friend free day and 80 degrees and sunny outside. Plan on wroking till 11, thats when we close. It will be like any other day. Except there will be a bunch of little kids roaming the park for the first hour and 15 kins of your shift.
  12. Did you also notice in the pictures in the top of the screen they showed the new Tomb Raider Coaster at one of our other parks and said that it was new for 2005.
  13. Alright all of you have hit my last nerve..... For a fact its not PKI that needs to catch up with its sister parks, its the sister parks that need to catch up with PKI. If we are so bad, then why are we the top Paramount Park. If we are so bad, why were we rated the number 1 seasonal theme park in the world. Our supervisors do not incourage to work slow, its the opposite crews are motivated to work fast and be SAFE at the same time. Most other parks can only dream that they are as safe as we are. The landscaping isn't done because we are waiting until the last frost to put out the flowers so that they dont die. As for the ride associates, dont blame them for everything, if you know your kid is to short DONT WAIT IN A 3 HOUR LINE AND THEN TRY TO SNEAK THEM ON. And if you do and they catch it dont get mad at them. Also if they give you an order like sit in this seat (IJST) they are only doing it so that we can keep the line moving, not because we are "power hungry" We are obviously doing something right because we have the awards to prove it. Anyone can sit here and be a critic and criticise everything that we do, or every move that we make. But we are doing the best we can given the circumstances that we are given. Just remember that associates that work at the park are people too. They have good days and bad days, and there can be some bad apples in the bunch. But to call out "All Ride Associates" and the "Supervisors" is totally uncalled for and I take offense to that. I dare you to try to do our job for one week and see how it is having to answer the same question 5,000 times in a day and being nice about it to everyone you come acoss. We want all of our guests to have a great time everytime they come, and they deserve it. But some of the stuff that associates put up with from guests is totally uncalled for (spitting, cussing, screaming, refusal to leave ride areas, etc.) So I say kudos to ALL departments at the park. You are all doing a great job, Keep up the good work.
  14. You need to make up your mind Player because in another post you said... "... i got insane airtime" Post Preview: #84995
  15. SHOT DOWN!
  16. Why is this even a topic, It will never happen.
  17. $80??? LOL Maybe to stay in the parking lot. Look at it this way, you basically would have to buy out the park for an evening which costs mucho dinero (lots of money). This isn't even considering if you want food or games or anything. Add on paying our employees to pick up after you. Believe me when I say that it would be much better for you to have your lock in somewhere other than an amusement park.
  18. Just trying to get an idea of what people think about the ride. I heard nothing but positive comments so far.
  19. There are no sirens
  20. Dont get used to this because we will be assigning seats for the rest of the season.
  21. make sure you read the print above.... "The first 2000 gold pass holders" will have the opportunity to ride, not everyone who comes to the park this weekend.
  22. A reminder to all that the gates open at 4:00 but the rides won't start until 5:00. Same goes for saturday and sunday, gates open at 9:00am and the rides begin operation at 10 (exception Rivertown early ride) Looking forward to seeing a big crowd tonight at IJST.
  23. Thats my parking spot, Hablo I think I can fit you in my garage
  24. To answer your question.... Dont ever come to the park and expect the ride to be open because chances are you will be dissappointed since it is its first year. But also dont forget that we have other world class rides at our park. The Beast, Son of Beast, Vortex, Tomb Raider, Delirium, Face Off, Flight of Fear, as well as the #1 kids area in the world. Just remember that if IJ is down that you can still have a fun day at the park
