KI Computer Systems that create the KI Best Day
Vortex has a Brain? I thought it was consuming ours with all the head banging. JK. Actually, Vortex’s PLC is the most complex due to the fact the initial stop on the transfer track doesn’t make the entire car sit on the transfer section.

It would be for what is planned for the ground. Usually if there’s a construction site with utilities, it is capped or the line is detoured.

The survey markers ran from the front of Coney Potato Works, to the front of attitudes, and then back 40 feet. The lines being laid in TG were separate, and they might as well be part of the cooling system for the ice skating rink.

The comparable one at CGA had an amazing Po Boy’s Shrimp Sandwhich. It’s economically viable for each of the parks, and it allows them to easily change the menu if needed.

Valid point. However, I think the market will be between Skyline and Larson.

Survey Markers are color coded. It’s done so that the general layout of the site is understood by PMs. They include electrical/signal lines (which were confirmed to be seen on sight. However the lack of yellow coded survey markers rule out a restaurant since those markers would be the first placed during the survey process.

If anything we need to look at CF as a whole. Therefore, if you look at this year’s additions throughout the chain, there’s an addition that is really “out there” in terms of CF additions, and that is Delirious at Valleyfair. Why is this such an odd acquisition? Because the if CF were to install many at once (like they did with their Flyers, WindSeekers, Disko Coasters), they would. The fact that they haven’t leads me to conclude that CF is trying to test both versions (SuperLoop/Skywarp) out. The footprint of a Skywarp fits the construction footprint exactly, and it would make sense given CF recent trend into installing SuperLoops. I’ve been on the Skywarp bandwagon for a while, but it makes sense. Back in 2009, CF had the option of installing WindSeekers from Mondial, or Star Flyers from Funtime. Since the rides were built, CF has started to build Star Flyers (North Star/Valleyfair). It would make sense for them to test he capacity, reliability, and costs at a small and large park. And then there’s the elephant in the room, the Huss Breakdance. When CF went on their overseas spending spree, one of the rides brought back was a Huss Breakdance. Since the initial news about the purchase, nothing more has been heard on that ride. Is it being installed, or are they having Huss build a new one? If anything the lack of news is making it seem like that the Breakdance won’t see the light of day at the park. And in regards to a restaurant going in, rumors were indicating that this would be similar to the Island Smokehouse. The Smokehouse at SC has an area of 2400 sq ft, while the area contained within the perimeter set up by the Markers is 5600 sq ft. If KI is building another indoor eatery, why are they doing it within 300 feet of the largest indoor eatery of the park? Second, none of the markers on site were for gas related utilities, which indicates that this is not a restaraunt.

The markers were for electric and alarm lines. They weren’t for gas utilities, the thing you would expect for a Smokehouse. The markers are indicating a construction site of 140 by 40 feet.

I’m not trying to turn this topic into a dumpster fire, BUT, I’m honestly shocked NOBODY else realizes there’s markers on the site, and it’s not the surveying markers one would typically associate with construction of a one story frame structure.

I’m already crazy for a skywarp....... jk. I’m really stumped on what KI could be installing.

Employee Comp Ticket
When I worked there, many moons ago, the tickets were only good until the first week of September. The terms and conditions, as well as when the ticket expires should be on the back of the ticket.

Disney Springs is a braced structure that’s indeterminate, so when it’s getting demolished, it’s going to remain standing, even with a good chunk of the building gone.. The structure for Attitudes has no bracing, or rigidity, therefore a determinate structure. so if the structure had even a single column removed, it would fall in that direction.

Zoom in on the photo and survey markers! Plotting it in a map, the approx distance between the new and old Markers is 40 feet N/S direction. Assuming there is equal spacing on E/W side, you get 140 feet. So entire site is 140x40 feet.

Just being the Devil’s Advocate, but he relocated a Dorney Coaster to VF, and did a whole bunch of relocations last year.

Just a wild card thought, could KI be getting the Rotor from WoF as part of a ride relocation?

If you look at the placement of the footers, they still leave accessible routes for vehicles.
