I didn't say Illuminations itself was the best thing at WDW, I said the special endings were. I mean, I suppose you can get pretty close with anything at Magic Kingdom, when they use the perimeter effects, but those are really awesome when they actually do the whole perimeter instead of just the front half.

Because Illuminations is based on reality. Real stories. It's the most real show on the property. Oh, oh, and there's this... and this... and lastly this... NOTHING on the property touches the special endings to Illuminations. Nothing.

I've just never liked Fantasmic. It's a good show, sure, but compared to the other shows across the Disney properties, especially other shows across Walt Disney World alone...

Well this thread is obviously about Cedar Fair opening shop back up there. I am 100% aware no competitor of any size and description is going to be able to put anything there.

I don't want to speak for anyone else here, but a smaller park is something I would like to see. Four coasters. Handful of rides. Low prices. Bundle in the water park on the other side. Would easily go once a month.

Ah, the mythical 5th gate. Always fun to read the speculation.

Here's an idea, why don't you go to the park without your cellphones, laptops, Kindles, iPads, etc, and enjoy nature and roller coasters.

Hell, this is the kind of ride with proper theming that would be incredible during Halloweekends. Imagine the entire section that is over land just covered in fog and flashing lights.
