The Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds. That was probably in 2011, the first year I had a season pass there.

I could possibly see another large coaster at KI in maybe 4 or 5 years. Carowinds is getting the giga in 2015, and I'm assuming that KD will get a new coaster in '16. Maybe, for KI, 2018 or 2019?

People on Carowinds Connection who have rode the Intimidator are not too happy about how it slows down the wait times...

Since when has a safety concern become annoying? They were fine without the seatbelts. I'm all for safety, but I NEVER felt like those lap restraints were unsafe. I loved those.

Yep, Carowinds Connection is all abuzz with this information. I think it's a really dumb move, but of course, CF wants to stay on the safe side. -Mer, annoyed with their decision.

I have a suspicion that it is going to Carowinds. It has already been confirmed that a 300 foot tall coaster is going there, and Cedar Fair recently trademarked the name Centurion, which most people seem to think will go to Carowinds. To me, the colors that would go with the name "Centurion" would be yellow and light grey. I could be wrong, however...

Carowinds is getting one as well. Mer, who is happy about the new dining venue, even though he has never heard of it.

The only problem I see with playing Scream by Avenged Sevenfold is the lyrics. "Scream till there's silence Scream while there's life left Vanishing Scream from the pleasure Unmask your desire Perishing" Yeah... Not a lot of parents would approve. But man the scream at the beginning and the instrumental would work perfectly in my opinion. Who cares if parents approve. Probably not many would even ride it. (if they're like my mom, at least)

As (someone) said earlier in the thread, I think Scream by A7X would be awesome. Also maybe some Marilyn Manson or Slayer or even Metallica. Ooh! And some King Diamond! (particularly Black Hill Sanitarium)

I think they've had this for a while now... I did notice, however, that they recently recorded Carowinds.

Skycoaster has been completed in its new location next to the WindSeeker and NightHawk.

So...still no official announcement on moving the Skycoaster, but it appears that they have drained the pond next to NightHawk and are preparing to reinstall it there... Also, on Screamscape today: Stats still seem a bit off; I don't know why it would be only 295 feet tall and shorter than the 232' Intimidator.

Not really relating to Carowinds, but the Plaza Fiesta strip mall next to Carowinds will be torn down to build a Cabela's store. Also, it appears that they are making good progress in moving the Skycoaster.

That is just too tall. Mer, who is normally not scared of any type of ride, but would wet his pants and scream like a little girl if he rode any Drop Tower taller than about 200'.
