Kings Island 2015 Discussion Thread
Not sure if this was already posted (probably), but there was an article on my local news that was posted to Carowinds Connection about a man who recently rode Diamondback for the 12,000th time. http://www.wral.com/man-73-rides-ohio-roller-coaster-for-12-000th-time/14742034/

Congratulations, and it sounds like you had a fun day!

FUN TV POVs
Yep, I've seen Gatekeeper while at Carowinds (at which they only seem to play POV's of Carolina Cyclone).

New 2016 coaster at SeaWorld to be Orlando’s tallest, fastest, longest.
That actually looks pretty cool, particularly the first hill following the drop. Certainly not the craziest thing possible, but a great ride nonetheless, I'm sure.

WindSeeker thrill rating
Personally I think that either 3 or 4 would fit it, but 5 is too much.

Carowinds' Thunder Road to race no more
There are multiple hotels in the vicinity of Carowinds, but not any on the property.

Carowinds' Thunder Road to race no more
Interpreter, do you actually know what Carowinds is getting? If so, and you say the best is yet to come, then I certainly believe you.

Carowinds' Thunder Road to race no more
As much as I hate this news, I have a feeling that it's not as bad as we think it is...

Carowinds' Thunder Road to race no more
Truly a terrible mistake, if you ask me. Nothing was wrong with that ride except for the last leg of the trip being a bit bumpy. If they actually remove it (who knows -- maybe we could see RMC do something to it), they'd better put something SPECTACULAR in it's place to justify it's removal.

Carowinds will be investing $50 million in the next three years!
...except for the second half of the trip... No, it's not going anywhere soon. Or at least, it shouldn't be.

The 2015 Media Overreacting to Standard Park Procedures Thread
I find it hilarious that they showed Intimidator instead of Flying Ace Aerial Chase. I mean, how is it even possible to confuse the two rides?!?!?!

Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg Partnership
I'm pretty sure it only applies to brand-new B&Ms, which is why Kings Dominion was chosen as the recipient of Dominator.

Could KI (and other Cedar Fair properties) finally be getting WiFi?
Fury 325?

Cedar Point 2016 Talk
This probably isn't the right place to ask, but what are the themed areas of Cedar Point called, if there are any? I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg Partnership
Hmmm...I wonder if it's possible that the "no B&M's within a certain distance of Busch Gardens" limit will be removed? I kinda doubt it, though...

Darn, we may have to think about renaming ours...

Yep, they said that. It was in the Charlotte Observer's article too.

Cedar Point 2016 Talk
Does Cedar Point not already have enough world-record-breaking/one-of-a-kind roller coasters??
-
Kings Island Music
From any parks, I guess, and including Fun TV.

Kings Island Music
Maybe we could start a Google Spreadsheet where people can add all the songs they've heard over the speakers or on FunTV at which park?
-
Carowinds or Kings Dominion?
I would give you my suggestion, but I just might be a little biased...

I rode it yesterday! (pics coming later) It was INCREDIBLE. The speed is unbelievable, the efficiency is great, and the ride never stops moving until the brakes. However, I was on the last train before it broke down, and had to be evacuated from the brake run just outside the station. Thankfully, none of the trains were on the lift hill yet. I can't imagine having to be evacuated from that hill... But it's an awesome ride! The line may look long, but it moves VERY quickly.
