Opening Day weekend cannot come fast enough...

Charlotte is expecting anywhere between 3-12" of snow tomorrow, depending on which forecast you believe, so construction will likely be delayed for a few days. But they should still be finished with construction for opening day.

My mom was showing me a very similar-sounding attraction in Charlotte last week. It sounds really fun, if you ask me!

Does anyone actually know where in Charlotte the satellite (for now...) office is? Or is it on the park property somewhere?

It's likely to be held on 3/25.

I was thinking about doing that too! And that's what I've always thought, that the ads are still technically there, but just not shown. (But I'm no tech genius so I have no idea.)

Funny, from that angle, it doesn't look like the top of lift will be 325'. Just a thought, from someone who secretly wishes it was going to be taller.

On the Southern Star at Carowinds: (the lap restraints come down automatically and they can be quite painful) "Now as the lapbar come down, you will feel a slight pressure...here they come...feel the pressure..." (and so forth. He was speaking in a very weird accent, too) On the Hurler at (guess where!) Carowinds: "Did you guys enjoy your ride on the Hurler?" *barely audible applause* "Now that's just unacceptable. Let's try that again..."

I don't think I even need to tell you what I voted for...

For now, they have a temporary North Gate entrance set up since the Plantation House and the surrounding buildings have been demolished. The South Gate wasn't open when I went last Sunday night for SCarowinds, so it might only be for Saturdays, when they're busier. Here's a map:

I like the colors, but they look too generic to me. I liked the multi-colored paint scheme better.

This is a really good idea, in my opinion.

I would like to point out that, as far as I know, "most favoritest" is incorrect grammar. But that's also really coincidental, because I sat next to a boy on the Intimidator just last week who said that it was his "most favoritest coaster in the world."
