  1. I believe Diamondback's first test run was at the end of Feb. Banshee is almost two weeks behind DB in that regard.
  2. yep. that certainly is a possibility.
  3. it looks like white pipes coming up out of the ground at the very bottom of one of those half moon looking configurations. could those be water elements?
  4. yes. they will. I just want to know, Where are you hearing all these "Rumors"? looks like i've been correct so far. Anyways, if you look closely on the webcam, you can see the fences going up on the second half of the ride down in the ravine.
  5. yes. they will.
  6. allegedly, it's towards the top of the drop down to the ravine.
  7. yeah, i heard this one is right after the zero g roll on the hill dropping into the valley.
  8. this is probably the one that i heard about. if it is there, i hope it's not used a lot.
  9. so you say.
  10. it's fun to speculate about a rumor, I THINK.
  11. I said " i don't think you are". Meaning, in my opinion. those pics he posted were taken a while ago, and the person that told me this, is right more often than not.
  12. i heard. that's all. could be just a rumor and nothing else.
  13. not a MCBR. just a trim, like on DB, coming off of the hammerhead.
  14. I hope you're right, but i don't think you are.
  15. i think there is. that's all i can say.
  16. i think there is a trim brake on the hill dropping into the valley.
  17. I believe they are still in the process of assembling the final train.
  18. A water coaster that rivals Mammoth at Holiday World would be amazing.
  19. I believe he said they (shingles and siding) will arrive by then. not sure though.
  20. The media attention that Batman and Nemesis received paled in comparison to the media attention Raptor was getting. Cedar Point was coming off of 2 world record breaking coasters with Magnum and Mean Streak. The coaster world was locked on Cedar to see what was next. When Raptor was revealed, there were tv commercials, bill boards, and even previews in theaters showcasing Raptor all over this region. I know this because i remember seeing them. I don't remember seeing or hearing very much about Batman or Nemesis. All of this coverage that Raptor received sparked momentum compared to that of Nemesis and Batman, much more in fact. Therefore, helping to create more additions of inverts world wide. Yes, somebody could and probably would have built another Raptor esque invert first somewhere else, and i would be referencing that, but be that as it may, Raptor was that invert. All of the media attention, close proximity to Kings Island, and record breaking statistics in my humble, but strong opinion, enabled Raptor to certainly help in big way prompt the consensus of Kings Island customers to request an invert.
  21. Keyword: "helped"
  22. Flying Ace is better than Craptor! What is so wrong with Raptor..May not be the best invert but it's better than some others before it..or others of the same variant. If you don't like Raptor basically half the inverts share very similar statistics and ride elements. Regardless, there are rides you won't fully enjoy, but every coaster has something, enjoy it. For instance, Beast is alot of flat boring track with a bit of speed, but the lift hills, tunnels, helix, and terrain make for a fun ride. But admittedly there are alot of flat boring spots when you look at it Flying Ace is a boring lame big kid coaster. How is that better than a real invert exactly? I won't ride FA unless I am super bored and it has a short line because it's boring and not worth the usual 20-30 minute wait it typically has in the summer. But hey ride the kiddie coaster all ya want if that is what gives ya your thrill LOL. I will take my upside down steep hill invert any day over a coaster that basically just takes you in circles Raptor was and still is a great ride. I remember when we first rode it back in 94. we loved every second of it! it revolutionized the coaster industry and helped to pave the way for all the great rides such as flying coasters and other inverts like, montu, alpengeist, etc. Banshee probably would not be possible without Raptor.
  23. The batwing drop looks longer than the drop coming off of the lift!
  24. The Banshee and Bat art are sweeeeeet!!!!!!!! KI please continue to employ these artists for future attractions. They have created two amazing ride logos!
