The wait from that point is only about 15-20 minutes, ya know... Same is true with Adventure Express. It's only about 10 minutes for front row with a line starting at the covered walkway.

^Hello! I agree with you, kingsrattler. I think that even though ride operations (upkeep) is somewhat lacking, I think the park is on a great note this year!

Girl, you did not just say that. But put in a nice pond and trees, pork flavor! Girl? I'm not a girl! And you can't disagree that that ride was starting to suck in recent years. I loved it as Tomb Raider, but that past couple of seasons have been just pathetic as The Crypt. No offense. Sure, the ride cycle was a bit lackluster, but I always went because it was fun for me. I wasn't expecting anything big, so I was not let down each ride (I must have taken over 100 rides on it last season!), but rather surprised with the upkeep of what little they had. That's what won me over, not the dissappointment, but the surprise of the little things added. Could it have been improved? Heck yeah. Was it pretty good towards the end? For me, yeah. It was nowhere near my avatar, but at least we had something.

Yesterday, the ride ops seemed to be in pretty good moods! Zephyr- While I was waiting, the ride ops said "We hope you enjoyed your 20 mph adrenalin rush on the best ride in the park." As we were riding it, the ride op had a screaming contest throughout each color section. "Now, when I say your seat color, scream as loud as you can! Green! Goood... Yellow! Wow, that was terrible. Blue! Pretty good! Red! You blew Blue out of the water! Now on the count of three, everyone scream as loud as you can! 1,2,3!" On Linus Launcher, the ride op had a game of Simon Says going. At Ice Cream Zone, this cashier (I hate myself for not getting his name!) was very energetic and lively. He made us laugh so much! Diamondback crew was doing the "When I say Diamond you say Back. Diamond...Diamond....Diamond....Enjoy your ride on Diamond..." which was nice, becaus I haven't seen that since early on last year. Speaking of Diamondback, that reminds me of last year. "You're about to go up and down, do a turny thing, go up and down, do another turny thing, and go underwater!"

I corrected my Spanish teacher on that once. She said something to the effect of "It's not an island belonging to a king?" So I guess people assume that it belongs to someone. ^That doesn't necessarily mean that it was stuck on the lift. The Vortex crew puts a train on the lift to let people know it's down.

Lets start with the thing that can't be found on a park map 2010 or newer, has no ride name, located in Action Zone, and has a Halloween Haunt walk though in it's station. Still can't guess it, here is a hint: "Fire you SOB!" Yeah. 'Cause we always need to bring Son of Beast in to the conversation.

Facebook is there because (if I remember correctly from a few months ago) they pay in part to keep this site going, thus making the Facebook at the bottom of the screen their advertisement.

I rode Vortex just fine during the beginning of the day today (before 11), but the park got really busy for some reason today...

Other, please! I would love love LOVE to see an increase in landscaping, music specific to each area (though with Oktoberfest, we might need some African music in there. Can't leave out another continent... ), refurbish and MAINTAIN Adventure Express theming, little more with Flight of Fear, et cetera. Let's focus on the broken things in the park, and fix and maintain them.

I was at the park today, and some of the employees (food and rides) wore some hideous clothes...

Wish I got to get an evac... Moreso on the MCBR on Diamondback or Vortex or Adventure Express' lifts! But it's probably gonna be down tomorrow, when I go. Just my luck!

I've never eaten at Columbia Palace, er Wings, er Rivertown Junction before. I've heard many positive reviews about it, but I hope to get to that place soon! (I also just now tried RPW fries... Man are those good! And last season, I finally got blue ice cream. I missed out on A LOT before!)

I'm curious as to what ride merchandise you saw? I wish rides like Adventure Express, Flight of Fear, and The Racer had merchandise available. I saw that awhile ago, and what got me angry is that in the article I saw, they put tallest roller coaster opens! EDIT: Looks fun, though.

^^And then when Cedar Fair came into the picture, we got a flying roller coaster and a 230' mega coaster! And you better not be counting Flight Gun/Top Deck. That was an already planned coaster under Lindner. Paramount just added a last minute "theme" to it. PS- It said that almost all of Adventure Express' themes were refurbished for the 2003 season... Theme. Definately. That's why Islands of Adventure is my favorite kind of park. Better than Kings Island, which was my #1 until a few weeks ago. Also, take away theme from parks like Dollywood, and you just have a couple "meh" roller coasters.

I'm almost 100% positive that the first row from The Crypt was used on Delirium's seats.

Why not attach it to the catwalks already existing above in the ceiling? Catwalks are generally designed and maintained to hold a person or two!

^^Kings Island has generators for all the rides, and I'm sure there's portable and/or permenant generators for food service, should the power ever get knocked out. It has about 2-3 years ago, I remember watching a brief thing on the news (showed a clip of the Blue Racer coming over a bunny hill).

I really hope that doesn't happen, a redesign of the redesigned loop. The loop we have now is perfect, although I just wish they weren't designed by computers to get a rougher/crazier ride experience like the Loch Ness Monster.
