If You Could Change Any Ride...
I'm actually against the adding of tv's in the queue for rides. We just got rid of Skyline Chilivision or whatever it was in The Beast. Let's keep it that way. I think Adventure Express should get all of its theming back. Many of it was taken away for almost no apparent reason other than "It needed to be maintained" or "It costs money (no!) to run it". Heck, even if we didn't get all of it back, key things would be wonderful. I would die if some fog or maybe mist (reseal the tracks with a better seal--Diamondback's splashdown comes to mind), the moving spears in the ceiling of the second tunnel, lights lighting up the set in the first tunnel, the station master spiel in the station, the volcano tunnel (third tunnel) looked like a volcano (fog?, red lights), etc all came back. Seriously. This ride seems underrated and just "another ride at Kings Island" to most people. I don't think the water will ever come back to Backlot. But at least fill the "splashdown" with water like they did in 2010.

Interesting Things Ride-Ops Do
Not necessarily a ride-op, but a food service cashier. She was absolutely hilarious, I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But she said stuff like "You are at... 1 star! That's amazing! I wish I was like you!"

What`s next for Son of Beast?
^I'm sure that would be the initial consensus at first. It's like if we got an S&S Drop Tower (like the drop side of Power Tower @ Cedar Point). People here would say "It's just like Drop Tower!" I mean, yeah, in a sense that's somewhat true, but hey. It's just an example!

4 Years Later: Whither GL Big Dipper?
We should all raise money to save the Big Dipper! In all seriousness, the Big Dipper was really fun. I went to Geauga Lake once with my family, and I remember marathoning the Big Dipper over and over and over and over again with my sister. That was the only memory I have of Geauga Lake, other than walking across the lake on a wooden walkway (I have no idea when this was--could've been under SIX, Premier, or FUN. I don't know!). I hope someone can breathe life into it again, it's a classic and iconic roller coaster with many memories.

I see what you're saying, Korn, but B & M have gone out of their comfort zone a few times. When was the last time Intamin made a flying coaster, a dive coaster, or similar? I know B & M has patents on each design, but why doesn't Intamin make an effort to make a similar design? We all know Intamin offers a diverse range of products, but B&M has a tried and true business model. When was the last time that Diamondback didn't build up a long line on a busy Saturday?

Have you leveled-up in the Fun Perks Yet?
I had a dream where I was still level 1, but got a free Fast Lane pass. Does that count? No? Well, I've been twice, spent about $50 in park, but have yet to see any instant rewards. I guess you need to start hitting triple digets to start gaining stars.

What happened with Diamondback shouldn't really count- that was erosion on concrete footings poured by a seperate company (Modern Day Concrete Construction). http://www.kiDiamondback.com/public/ride/statistics.cfm B & M was used as a model for a good company that doesn't have many flaws.

Kings Dominion & Busch Gardens TR
I would actually not like to have those aliens/monsters/whatever in our Flight of Fear. 1. It gives us a (minor) distinction. 2. It just doesn't seem fitting how an alien is trapped inside their own ship...? But other than that, you took some great photos, glad you had a good time in Europe! P.S. I just figured this out yesterday from my sister who took German. Verbolten is actually pronounced "ver-boat-un", not "ver-bolt-un".

Oh, jdawg, there's a flaw in your plan! You forgot all the big floodlights that illuminate the ceiling (because who doesn't love ceilings and catwalks?)!

Kentucky Kingdom
^I think you mean Jazzland! What makes the Fair Board so difficult to deal with? And who technically owns the park, now? If it's the Fair Board, and they have no intention to do anything with any of the rides, why not sell them to Kings Island? We desperately need a few more flats in the park.

'Super Duper Thrill Rides' on Destination America Tonight
Wait, what was this channel for TWC? I missed it (why did I watch Zathura instead?!)! Hopefully it'll be on again tomorrow, just like most other new releases on TV.

What`s next for Son of Beast?
I dunno 'bout the rest of ya, but I'd LOVE a flat ride like a Top Spin, but bigger! Hopefully it works, and maybe theme it to an abandoned Crypt? Just thinkin' out loud, here!

What`s next for Son of Beast?
Technically, some things have come before 2015. 2009-Diamondback 2010-Penn Station (just kidding, Planet Snoopy) 2011-WindSeeker and Dinosaurs Alive! 2012-Complete rebranding of the waterpark and a new wavepool. I think we'll get something during the next 3 years!

Intimidator 305-The first 1/3 of the ride had to be redesigned due to extreme forces not forseen in the ride's design to accommodate trim brakes. Intamin Giga Coaster? Yes. Millennium Force- Riders are stranded 275' in the air--cable snap. Timmy's Giga? I think so. http://www.rideaccidents.com/2001.html#sep2b
