  1. I wish you could investigate, too. That would be so cool to do that. I thought they showed SOB so much because of the location of it to the graveyard. Besides, it's spooky looking.
  2. It was great to see people walking through the park alone. All those shots of all the coasters and rides, whether there are hauntings are not, it's a great advertisement for the park. It's a beautiful park.
  3. Sometimes, on a particularly nice day, I want to go to the park, and drat if it isn't closed. Makes me wish for the super future city glass bubbles over cities like you see in fifties sci fi movies.
  4. I never got to go, either. I used to get a Summerfair shirt from a friend every year, but never went.
  5. She's going to be handing out some interesting Christmas Gifts. Good for her.
  6. Cool Story! I hope you find your photos for The Beast.
  7. We called him that, too. Good Luck, everyone. It would be nice to have someone on these forums win.
  8. Wow. What a dream job. It would be nice to see more pictures of his work.
  9. For some reason, this caught me funny. I can just see CoastersRZ going to the ticket booth with a toy gun saying "stick 'em up!" LOL! Haha, From when I worked beer booths, it's not too far off. You'd feel a hand in the front of the apron, and there was the boss, saying, "It's only me.", as he grabbed the money and stashed it. The boss hit some odd spots, at times.
  10. Standbyme, If you loved the dining pictures, I'm going to suggest you google "Lileks" and his Institute of Official Cheer. He has a collection of motel brochures, old comics, and ads that kill me.
  11. That is cool to see the superimposed pics. I'm insanely remembering little spider monkeys on an island, was that at KI?
  12. I wish they would section the music too. The zany outfit that chick is wearing looks like the same person that designed the Awful Ptooie Chatanooga Cats cartoon designed her duds. the 70's were a terrible time for hat fashion.
  13. On the Saturday we went, we went to our favorite houses first, at five. The line was quick, but by eight o'clock, it was a long wait. The next Friday, we zipped through.

Wish they could temporarily spook up the big carousel, and let it run. Reminds me of "Something Wicked This Way Comes".

It's a cross between AE and The Beast. I love the quick turning at night, when I can't see the track of AE, but when the moon is out, and you are on the crest of the second lift of The Beast, you can look over the park for a second, and see all the lights.
  16. Really scared the bejeezus out of my niece. I thought they were good.
  17. Two people in front of us disappeared into the world of Club Blood. I guess they took a wrong turn. They exited behind another group of about ten people. When I'm going through a maze, and see a scaractor escort a person back out through the entrance, what's that all about? The guests are usually guys that are well past the age of being frightened they can't go on. Do they get sick, or what?
  18. I went to both events. I'm gonna nitpick. I was really hoping to see armies and armies of little kids in costume. The only way I could think of to promote a true Halloween experience was offering a discount to costumed peoples under a certain age. I quit giving out candy at my house, and go to my parents house to give out treats, because all the kids in this area STINK with their lousy costuming ideas, if they wear a costume at all.

I like running from chainsaws. I like getting scared. It's a fun scared, like being on the roller coaster. You get startled, you laugh at yourself, and you get startled again. We all have fun. Hasn't anyone played 'monster' as a kid? Or run through real cornfields?
  20. I felt kind of sorry for SOB the other night. All the other rides are lit up with people enjoying themselves, and there it sat in the dark, like the old crazy aunt who stole all the popcorn balls that one Halloween. Then I remembered that the station was being used as a grunge den of hairy.
  21. Went again, niece in tow, to get more rides for her buck. She's not a Haunt person, so I just went to the ones I missed last time. US as usual, is good, but I was surprised by Holiday Horror. It's not bad at all, it's really unique in it's set up, and not that short at all. We were able to grab ALL the rides, and she relented to a few Haunts, and had a good time. Lots of roaming actors tonight.
  22. It is a good review. It would be cool to see some photos.
  23. This I would not know. I only rode Firehawk once. The fact is that from five o'clock to ten, she got in two rides. I'll make sure to berate her as soundly for her utter stupidity for bringing Firehawk in the realm of line waiting conversation.
  24. I suspect they were trophies of victims? I dunno. All I could think of is that in their communal hairy lair, is that if some noob put a license plate on the bike wall, there would be a household meeting and he would quickly be shamed into place. The same treatment would go if he used the red sponge for cleaning the sink, and not the yellow one. I wonder when macrame night is.
