Diamondback Vibration
Beat me to it, beastfan26. I mean, for crying out loud, the phrase "Good Vibrations" appears three times in my avatar...

Baaa-fling mystery of smiley faces on British sheep has been solved
I'll tell you, those British parks do the strangest things for publicity.

Flashback Till Opening Day 2013
You know, come to think of it, perhaps my suggestion wasn't totally wrong after all...

Flashback Till Opening Day 2013
That is obviously a picture of the time when government workers were called in to remove a UFO. I mean, duh. (Seriously though, I haven't the slightest idea what that is.)

Flashback Till Opening Day 2013
Hasn't The Racer's entrance been moved sometime in the past? Or am I thinking of the exit?

Methods for the cure of KI Off Season flu
I read through my somewhat modest collection of amusement park related books every offseason. One of my favourites is The Great American Amusement Parks: A Pictoral History by Gary Kyriazi. Although it's hilariously outdated when it comes to "modern" parks (what do you expect; published in the 70s), it does have a rather nice section on New York's Coney Island. Not to mention it holds a special place in my heart as the book that turned me into an enthusiast.

Thunder Alley could be no more...
Never got a chance to ride Thunder Alley myself, but according to everybody I've spoken to about it, it was kind of a letdown anyway. As far as I'm concerned, Dodgem is the only driving ride Kings Island really needs. Although the Antique Cars would be nice... Oh well. I guess George Harrison was right - all things must pass.

Thunder Alley could be no more...
*applause* LordSkippy, pulling a Terpy while simultaneously avoiding a one-word post.

Thunder Alley could be no more...
I think the offseason is going a bit to our heads. Perhaps it would be wise to take a deep breath while simultainously having cookies and milk. Just my two cents; whatever that'll buy me on this site. (Edit: Wow, 300th post.)

Thunder Alley could be no more...
Did I miss something, or is Nemo really saying he's leaving the site because Terpy made a witty comment?

Over rated rides
I think the Voyage is a vastly overrated coaster. About time it lost it's Golden Ticket for Best Wooden Coaster.

Travel Channel shoot this weekend?
Vortex is Sunday. And it's an ACE event.

A Water slide I would never dare to go down
Ah, good old Action Park. Gotta love it.

Soak City attraction names released
About Zoom Flume...I recall previous name wasn't very consistant. I destinctively remember the map referring to it as Snowy River Rampage, while the pre-ride audio referred to it as White Water Rampage.

Wow! That's a slow lift hill!

What is your Expirience on The BEAST?
While not exactly the best ride I've ever ridden, The Beast is certainally one of my favorites. I remember it as the ride that turned me from coaster history buff (who refuses to ride anything) to all-out enthusiast.

What do you miss the most about Kings Island this off season?
I'd have to say the same thing that makes amusement parks on the moon so inferior to those on earth-the atmosphere, or lack thereof. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

Color Me Surprised
Can't get no worse. I really do like the new paint. At least it's a different color than the original track, unlike another Action Zone coaster...but I'm not complaining.

Favorite Ride
I'd say Vortex wins easily.

1975 brochure
I like how the 'largest twin racing roller coaster in the country' is called the 'Twin Racer.'

Vortex 25th Anniversary
Thank you! I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

Vortex 25th Anniversary
I'm a really big fan of Vortex. And since I'm absolutely frightened of WindSeeker, (and the fact that everybody else in my family loves it,) I rode it a lot more than usual this past season. Every time I've ridden Vortex, I've always checked and double checked that I was in 5-1. Is there really that much of a difference? Being tall and quite skinny, I'm a bit too afraid to try it out for myself, and I'm worried one of these days I'll be forced to go to a different seat and I'll be so battered by the end I'll be sore for days.

Kings Island New Website
I like the new website. As for the map, Invertigo got it's loop back!
