Since when is The Racer 'notoriously' rough?

Ah, yes, the classic Vekoma flying coaster. The pinnacle of capacity, reliability, and comfort.

The memes aren't making light of Harambe's death as much as they're mocking the public's response to it, especially on social media, which I don't have a problem with considering the abhorrent amount of insincere virtue signaling the incident caused. These memes, too, will fade, although the Cincinnati Zoo's response has probably added another month plus to their lifespan.

I rode Loghtning Rod and didn't find it particularly "incredible." Don't get me wrong, it's a solid, enjoyable ride, but as much as I would have liked to have been completely blown away by it, I wasn't - and not just because it gave me a headache. I get that a lot of people really like Lightning Rod, but it's childish to insinuate those who don't either have never ridden it or are trolls.

I rode Lightning Rod last weekend. Gave me a headache. Granted, not one as large as it continues to give the Dollywood maintenance staff, I'm sure, but still.

I don't know what's spookier, the stories or the misinformation.

Mean Streak and The Racer are two entirely different beasts, no pun intended. It's silly to speculate the closing of one indicates the imminent removal of the other.

This just strikes me as unnecessary. It's not like Tower of Terror is hilariously dated or at all in need of a renovation, and frankly I question how much longer Marvel's ultra-popularity will last.

Hey, if that's what makes you feel important.

A friend of mine made a similar image and the presumed coaster fit fine without the flume removed.

Please, KIC members, I beg you: for the love of all things good in the world, do not spend the next three months incessantly debating the legitimacy of these plans.

If everything rumored/not-even-rumored to come to the Disney parks actually came to the Disney parks... Plans can and often do change.

As somebody with an an almost comically large nose, those headsets look incredibly uncomfortable, not to mention unsanitary. Call me a reactionary, but if this is the future of roller coasters, I'd like a one-way ticket to the past, please.
