It seems too big to be just a haunt project, Backhoes on site this early? One thing I dont get is the location. If you look at a map of CW, behind PS doesnt looks like that great of a place to place a new ride. They could be building a kids ride, but why start now?

Looks like Cedar Fair found a home for SOB. Kidding aside, I would say a new coaster definiatly, its too early to call the type of ride.

Maybe bacuse it was a math and science day and they expected many kids to go through the park and ride the ride? And I too used to have nightmares of Phantom theater, I rode it when I was really really little, and was scared to death.

It was just a bad idea in general. Why did they choose that design? The humongous hill looks okay, but think about how much that cost them, do we really need to be that high up for that long? Then the rose bowl is terrible, and is a very sad and pathetic attempt at copying The Beast's double helix. They should have tried a new idea to the ride there. The loop was the best part, and it is gone. Then the rest of the ride is ehhh....

Wow, very interesting read. I know Carnival has an island similar to this, but they use it! I have only heard about it, I have never actually been to it or seen it myself.

It also states Aztec Adventure as the only Water Coaster in the midwest. False.

Maybe the artist accidently did not know and put that in there?

When was the last time the effect worked? I can't remember it ever working since I started riding AE.

Does Disney have something like this? I know you see it in the Verizon commercials, but I have not ever seen or heard of this park technology.

Can anyone post any other pictures of this? This is the first one I have seen, I knew about it but have never seem a picture. And why did they drain it?

I voted that it is average. From trip Reports, it looks nice, but aside from new paint colors and new names and new signs, nothing else has changed. Nothing new to make this area better than last year. I voted Nick U was better because it was better themed. From what ive seen from TR's, Planet Snoopy has theming, but it isnt to the scale NIck U was. Reptar and Wild Thornberries had to be some of the best themed rides in the park, and they have been replaced with a sign, and a flat sign of the Peanuts Gang waving with a finish line. I havnt been there yet, so this decision isnt final.

Why would they wait to announce this until after opening day? Now it won't be on the map, and people will be less likely to know about it.

Did you stop by to see what the entrance to Action Theater looked like? Any sign like "coming soon"??

I would like to see a maverick type ride at KI, would go good where SOB is, or X-base. I also think by 2012 we will no longer have action theater, and the kids area will be themed to something else.
