If you live near or can predict the weather, try to go on a day with light rain. Sorry to add this in, but I am going June 4th, with this being the first friday of all schools off, can I expect to see large crowds?

Hopefully this doesnt spell the end for a previously great coaster.

I chose Mantis. As much as I love Mille and Magnum, I really like Mantis as a coaster itself. It doesnt go fast or high, but its a great ride that you can do with little to no wait.

I dont know if this is possible, but ask to be stopped at the top of a lifthill for a minute? Then ask.

So will this dark ride be more of an intense ride, or a smaller not as intense ride meant to everyone? It will be a letdown to fans if the ride isnt sutable for people not looking for thrills.

Tighter seatbelt means more safety. Maybe Cedar Point saw a defect? I know this change was not meant to hurt people, it was meant to keep rider's safe. There is nothing we can do to change that.

Today at school with people discussing KI "They have this new ride called THE Diamondback. Its like 300ft tall and goes over 100mph"

I still don't get why they are calling it "snoopy". Snoopy’s Starlight Spectacular Knott's Berry Farm Snoopy's Hot Summer Lights Worlds of Fun Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular Kings Island what creative names. And whats the point of naming the light show after snoopy, yes, there will be some snoopy charecters lit up, but the rest isnt going to be snoopy, and the name sounds like its just a kids show.

I had a dream last night that I was at KI, but they closed all of the rides. I didnt know what to do and I kept trying to get on the rides and start them myself....

And, of course, questions that could be answered by a simple google search were answered... Don't worry, my question about the tacky peeling wallpaper in the BBoBH queue has been ignored too. At least its better than the guy who asks "The Beast should be turned backwards, We want a 500ft tall coaster, Why dont they change the rides back to movies, abd brick coasters...."

I rode KCKC once, the year before it bit the dust. It was a good ride, better than the post-transformation crypt imo.

Have you been to the Columbus Zoo? Did you know it has been this way for over 50 years? Their was originally 2 separate parks. There was the Columbus Zoo and Zoo Park with the latter being a small amusement park. Zoo Park had nothing to do with the Columbus Zoo. In latter days Zoo Park became Wyandot Lake and then became part of Six Flags. Two years ago the Zoo purchased Wyandot Lake and inc operated it into the Zoo. Most of the rides are in a separate area from the animals and in no way affects the atmosphere. The only rides that in the animal area are the Train, the boat ride in the Asia area and the carousel that was once at Olentangy Park. BTW, the Jet (sea dragon) roller coaster is the oldest operating coaster in Ohio. This was my first coaster and why I can't bring myself to call it by it's new name. To me it will always be the Jet. OK thanks, I never have been to that zoo, but I have been to some zoo's with rides right in the middle of it.

Great PTR. Am I the only one against installing rides at zoos? It takes away from the atmosphere.

In the recent thread "changes to CP 2010" someone said there is a new parking lot going up near the marina. If so, it is very likely they will use some of the parking lot for a new roller coaster.

New parking becuase part of the parking lot near DD's old spot will be lost due to a new ride?

Would there really been room for a GCI where Demon Drop is? My one trip to CP i unfortunatly never rode DD, so I have no clue what the room is like down there.

Hmmm....It has already been ordered. I guess we can let that mean it is big. I am saying a Drop Tower type right. A better more efficient Demon Drop.
