I have noticed there are quite a few places that smell of raw sewage throughout the park. Adventure Express is the only place I smell sewage. Oh by the way you live in my town lol Thats awesome, i didnt notice that also, the last time i was at the park, Nick U had multiple places that smelled of sewage.

Apparently, by the way things are looking, i wouldnt be suprised to see a new flat in Coney Mall next year. I do feel however, that according to multiple reports, KD is going to be the park with all the coaster hype next year.

I always thought that BLSC should have been built there (if they took out the go-karts) it would have fit in perfectly with that area, rather than in coney mall. I guess that was one of brain farts that Paramount had during planning of the ride On a side note, congrats on your #1,000

Yup, the park encountered a lot of vacationers yesterday. I was there and everywhere you glanced in the parking lot you would see license plates from different states. There were also A LOT of people carrying maps and trying to find there way around. GWL was also packed, i got a good glance of the overcrowded pool while riding Flight Deck. I will agree though, it is good to see the park busy. On a side note, the ride ops on Crypt were very enthusiastic yesterday as opposed to how they usually are. It was surprisingly pleasant.

Yes Diamondback is truly amazing, it, and The Beast are what broke my fears of coasters

I like how rivertown has been brought back to life and has restored theming. I also like Cedar Fairs greater lookout on cleanliness and ride safety.

I am not exactly sure if this happened this year or last year, but i just noticed that the park has been cleaning up the barrels of oil leaking from Deliriums axle and onto the gondola.

I always thought that the waterfall was a sort of cycling water filtration system, though i could be wrong

We should start a group therapy that involves buying a basketball and stabbing it millions of times with a knive until it's in shreds...then cutting the remaining shreds into pieces with scissors...then setting the tiny pieces of confetti on fire...then throwing the ashes on people dibbling the basketballs. The only ride i grey out on is BLSC in the parking garage/helix.

I havnt been stapled down on DB, but every time i have been on Racer this year i have, painfully. It seems as though no matter what i do, the first rabbit hop after the first drop i somehow end up with the lap bar being shoved all the way down into my legs. It especially hurts when entering the turnaround.

Sometimes, 20 minutes worth of a downpour might make it seem like your day is ruined, but it actually makes your day better. If you wait out the rain, chances are, many people will leave the park in response to the weather which will drastically shorten lines, decrease the population of the park, and give you more chances and more time to ride rides when they open back up rather than if it didnt rain.

I couldnt agree more. The nicest ride op groups at the park the last time i went were Diamondback, Beast, Monster, and BLSC.

^^That is a good point, another thing is that Mr. Kinzel has stated that CF does not run theme parks, but what is Knotts? It is also kind of dissapointing with how what they consider KI to be, especially since Taft, the park's builders, even called it a theme park. IMO, i consider KI as a "themed amusement park".

It annoys me on how Cedar Fair seems to, for the most part, have very little enphasis for some of the rides built by Paramount (Crypt, Flight Deck, or BLSC anyone?)

^^I am pretty sure they upgraded the lift system after a girl got her feet cut off at kentucky kingdom on a similar ride. I remember seeing on the news that Intamin, the manufacturer of Drop Tower and the kk ride, recommended that KI upgrade the ride.

^ More than likely, yes, it could be a two way fued if they were done dealing whith each other. To me, i think that viacom wouldnt hate CF unless they had a rep visit the park and they see the Crypt lol, that might really grind there gears.

This is just too weird, first people see something in the sky at Kings Island, which turned out to be the skydiver show, and now, something was in the sky at KD, but they dont know what it is. Wow, what do ya know, even the martians like to visit amusement parks!

I just thought that i would post this as i dont know if anyone else has posted, or if anyone has noticed. I just visited the Kings Island Insider Blog today, and there are two posts that seem pretty peculiar to me. One post mentions a Transformers perk where the park will be handing out free Transformers comic books on June 23rd, this post even slightly advertises people to go see the new Transformers movie in theaters which was made by none other than Paramount. Also, on the Blog, it announces a live concert by the cast of a newer nick show taking place August 18th. I was just thinking, could the Transformers thing be a catch that Viacom offered to Cedar Fair for marketing in order to reduce the price of licensing, particularly Nick, and the concert just backs it up? This is making my head hurt EDIT: I had just now seen that the concert was originaly supposed to be at Bogart's and was moved to KI, but still, if the park was done with Nick, wouldnt they refuse to have it?
