Six Flags Magic Mountain Planning
Thanks, guys! I believe the new plan is to go to MM, then if I've done everything, go to Knott's from about 6-10. EDIT: Scratch that plan. I went to Knott's last night.....fun park....more in the PTR. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take many pictures (it was dark), and I didn't ride any flats (I got there about 8 so I had 2 hours to enjoy the park). I got all of the coasters in except for Xcelerator (stupid accident.....I can't believe it's STILL closed), which killed me. You'd have to see that thing, towering above all the other coasters, knowing you can't ride it....it sucks. I also did not ride Timberline Twister, or whatever that Camp Snoopy coaster is called.

Hey guys, one more thing. It'll be a Friday in Lent, so I can't eat meat. Anyone know of some good restaurants I can go to? Pizza or something?

You guys have no idea how excited I am for this park. I've been wanting to ride X2, then X, for as long as I've known about it.

In other news, I paid the difference for the Platinum Flash Pass, which I believe is the same as the Gold, but you get to ride twice. Wow I feel really bad about paying to linejump haha.

While X2 is still an upcharge for the GFP, they've added Terminator to the list. How does this rank when stacked up against other GCI's?

Also, I haven't been up to date on Knott's or anything, but Ghostrider and Xcelerator are open from rehab and repairs, correct? Their starlight ticket is $26.99, so we may be going there as well (I have a KI Platinum Pass, but not my family), but if those two aren't open, my desire to go to KBF drops a ton. EDIT: Screamscape says Xcelerator will not open back up until April 30, so I won't be riding that.

What are you looking forward to the most this year?

^Woops, I'll edit that out. I considered maybe scratching that off the list but with the few suspended coasters out there these days, I can't pass it up. By the way, I'll do everything in my power to be there early. Last year one day my dad and I arrived at 8 O' Clock for Cedar Point! And Terpy, I'm sure I'll love it. Dave: My mom is not a rider, however, we were planning on buying the flash pass online. I guess it would still be the same plan, but instead of paying for it with money, I'd assume she'd have a certificate.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Planning
Alrighty. As part of spring break, my sister, mom and I will be going to SFMM Friday, April 2nd. I've never been there, and REALLY would like to make the most of my time. I'll be getting a Gold Flash Pass, which is good on any major ride besides X2 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong). Here's the list of rides I would like to ride: X2!!!!!!!!!!!! Tatsu Riddler's Revenge Superman The Escape (assuming it's open) Deja Vu Goliath Ninja Revolution Scream Terminator Salvation (never ridden a GCI, unfortunately) Viper Ninja Batman (for the sake of credits!) and to be honest I don't think I should have any problems getting those in with a GFP. Oh yeah! and... Mr. Six's Dancecoaster of course! just kidding.... So anyway, for planning: Looking at the map (Link Here) I should go to X2 first, you know, it being a popular ride, and the only one you can't use a flash pass on free of charge. Then I'd ride Revolution, then make my way clockwise around the outer ring of the park, hitting Viper, Deja Vu, Terminator, then going in to the center. There I would ride Superman, Tatsu, and Ninja. After that, I'd get back out to the outer ring, where I'd ride Riddler's, Batman, Scream, Goliath, and Colossus. I'd spend the remainder doing rerides of my favorites, or the remaining coasters. Does this sound like a good plan? Does this seem possible? Are there any good rides I left out? Restaurant recommendations (LA area too)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. When I get back I'll have an epic PTR! Thanks P.S. I've heard horrible things about reliability pertaining to Superman, X2 (though I've heard it's getting better), and of course Deja Vu. Any advice/ info?

Interesting Yahoo Article
Kindga Ka? RingRacer (if it ever opens of course)?

I personally don't think Flying Turns looks like a Best New Ride, but other people may think so.

KENTUCKY KINGDOM CLOSED
Two days after the announcement and I'm still a bit numb. I'm tremendously disappointed, though I'm not sure how to feel. I now will not have a fun park to go to in Louisville with my cousins. It's great Holiday World is operating, and I'd be very happy if this closing could benefit HW.

Sorry, I'm color blind. What's the difference? P.S. YES I can see colors. I just get them mixed up.

I need a LOT of help with my 2010 park plans.
SFoG: Goliath is epic! Make sure you ride it more than once! You may be disappointed with employees though, some I encountered were rude KD: Dominator is a ride that is painfully boring unless ridden in the front seat. I would much rather ride Vortex. However, If you sit in the front, it's a spectacular ride. Volcano is my favorite though. BGE: My favorite park. Alpengeist is the best invert I've ridden, Loch Ness is the smoothest and most fun Arrow Looper I've been on, and Griffon is just something that must be ridden to understand.

If you are scared of heights...
I'm not afraid of heights, as long, of course, as there is a restraint keeping me in. I rode Top Thrill Dragster and Drop Tower when I was 8. I hopped on X-Scream (front seat I might add) and Big Shot. Insanity, I will admit, is the most fear I have ever felt before getting on a ride, maybe even in my whole life! Here's an awesome video of the Stratosphere Tower Rides: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eRhQTS41pE You have to realize that before you even get on these rides, you're already 900 feet up for Insanity and X-Scream, 1,000 for Big Shot! Looking at a 60 angle down at the ground 909 feet above is very terrorizing, yet once you're spinning, you can't hesitate to spread your arms.

Busch Tampa Input
I've never been there, but judging by how epic Williamsburg was, I'm sure you'll have a great time. As for rides, I can only tell you that you HAVE to ride SheiKra, because I loved Griffon. Montu also looks awesome, and so does Kumba. The theming in Virginia is abundant, so it will be great.

New Haunt Attraction?
I'd LOVE a toy factory maze. Happy Jack's at CP was amazing! Not really scary, but still awesome! Hilarious too.
