Miley Cyrus to Hold Sweet 16 Fundraiser Birthday Bash at Disneyland
If it was six years ago then there might be a really good reason you did not right the Tower of Terror. It opened in 2004 so its only 4 years old currently. Ok. I am obviously not remembering when I went. I am definately sure that Tower of Terror was there so it must have been the first year it was there. Man, I already am forgetting things. Maybe you just dreamed it? No. I definately did not dream it because my mom and brother went out there for a week to see my uncle and we went to some museums in LA and saw the Hollywood sign and went to Universal City.

Well in that case, I also went to California Adventure. They're two separate park with two separate admissions. You didn't remember going to two completely separate parks? It was like six years ago and I was ten or so. Maybe I just went to the California Adventure. That is the only one I am sure I went to.

I would definately love to go back there. I never went on Tower of Terror because I was too scared of it, but I would surely do it now. And I wouldn't mind going on the rides again.

Miley Cyrus to Hold Sweet 16 Fundraiser Birthday Bash at Disneyland
I went to the Disneyland in California. It wasn't bad, but I thougt it could use a few more coasters, even though I wasn't as in love with them at the time. The rides that were there were good, though. One of my favorites was the Indiana Jones ride.

I went to Disneyland before I had ever been to Kings Island and it is a good thing, because I would have been disappointed with the lack of coasters if I went there after Kings Island.

Horrible transitions on Arrow Coasters
I don't mind going through the corkscrews slow, unlike some of the others, because I like the feeling of falling out of your seat, but I agree with everyone about the brake run being painful before the corkscrews.

Guests Say The Darnest Things
Just Googled the article. That's pretty darn funny! It makes me laugh when someone gets "caught with their pants down."[zing] Not very funny to the possible little children sitting outside the booth waiting though. Little Billy will never be the same.... I had to chime in here about this.... I was watching Diamondback construction from the 80's theater and happened to look into the theater and in the front row, was a couple doing the nasty!.......LOL I called security. Did they think no one would see them?

Labor Day Weekend
Well it sounds like if I go, it will be on Labor Day which is Monday. My brother went to Kings Island on Memorial Day and said it wasn't that bad so I am hoping the same for Labor Day, although there are much more events going on.

Labor Day Weekend
Alright. I don't remember ever going to the park this late in the season so I really have no idea what to expect, so whatever knowledge you have is more than I know.

Labor Day Weekend
There is a possibility that I am going ot Kings Island on Labor Day (Last of three employee reuinion days, also day of Pete Rose, George Foster, and Joey Chestnut). Will it be fine or too crowded to enjoy the trip? I also might go on this Sunday and I don't know what kind of crowds to expect.

Diamondback Station/Queue Art?
Well hopefully Cedar Fair will notice how good of a job they did with that que and do the same for Diamondback. They are both western themed after all.

What a difference 3 years-and new ownership-makes
Yeah. I don't think that Paramount's hurt the park at all, but near the end of their ownership it just had some sort of feeling like it wasn't taken care of as much as it could have been. I can't really put my finger on it but there was something or things.I think the park seems to sort of have a different feeling now with the new ownership. To me it feels like a more experienced owner is running it.

Diamondback Station/Queue Art?
I would definately enjoy an indoor line, even if it's just for part of the line. When it's hot I like to head over to Flight of Fear just because it's indoors and I can wait in the cool air conditioning.

The Season Pass program is worth debating. Prior to Cedar Fair, you got the remainder of the current season free - and four other parks. Now, few season pass holders visited the other parks, so offering a KI-only pass makes sense... I can understand the diminished value of the passes nowadays. Bring a Friend Free Days? Who did they really benefit, when the park was packed, with few paying to get in? Cheaper food prices? Maybe, but was the quality any better? Racer backwards? More of a subjective thing. Though I prefer a racing twin coaster, and two forward facing trains make the concept better. Boomerang Bay hours? The current hour structure goes back ten years. Personally, I'd like to see more 10am opens and 8pm closes. 7 pm in the heart of the season seems weak. I know that comparing BB with the Beach waterpark may not be totally fair, but having at least 8 pm closes would be more attractive, especially for the locals and having the SP entrance. And how do you not take notice of all the special events? I would have to say that for those who like and go to Cedar Point and Kings Island and any of the other Cedar Fair parks then the platinum option is perfect, other than that I think the season passes are the on par with PKI's. I think the bring a friend free day was a great way to get new people into the park. It is the best way to have the parks own season pass holders bring in new people and hopefully got them wanting to come back. The only problem is that their day might not have been so great because of how crowded it can be on those days. I personally like both sides of The Racer going forwards just because I like the forwards better than backwards, but I can definately see why people like having two different choices. ...And I don't really have anything to say about Boomerang Bay's hours because I don't mind them, but I'm sure another hour wouldn't hurt in the middle of the summer. Oh, and I also do like all the events there are now, too.

Riding Problems
I was almost just like your brother. I had always wanted to go on Vortex but the only thing that I was afraid of was the first drop. After a lot of nagging from my friend and the fact that I never really went on anything big, I decided to go on The Beast and was freaked out as we slowly climbed the first lift hill. Then after I found out I enjoyed The Beast, I decided to go on Vortex, even though I was still freaked out as we were going up the hill. But after Vortex, I rode everything and have liked everything since. Thats not really advice, but your brother should definately not feel alone. You could also show him all the kids that are the same size or smaller than him that are riding those coasters because that always made me feel less scared when I saw people smaller and younger than me could ride them.

3 questions about things I noticed yesterday
Those seat belt connectors serve as connections for a special type of restraint that is used for guests that lack both arms and both legs, the same restraint can be fitted to The Beast trains as well. A special restraint fits over the head of the guest and connects to those two seat belt ends and an end under the seat too. I had no idea that's what those were for, but it makes sense.

Koolangatta (I think that's how you spell it) Racer is always my favorite over there, too.

Alright now I had the best trip to KI
I'm guessing that they were closed because they do no thave enough life gaurds to work this late in the season with most of them going back to school. I have not gone to Boomerang Bay this year but last year we went about two weeks into August and they were already running low on staff over there.

PTR Kings Island 8-20-08
^Yes. That would be perfect. It seems that about half of the time that I walk back there I don't go on either ride because the lines are too long or I can't tell how long the FOF line is and I see the outside line filling up so I decide not to ride it.

longest line
Did you get a free first rider t-shirt?

KI Adds Operating Days in Sept and BRING A FRIEND DISCOUNTS
I don't remember the last time I went on one of those days. I think it was a couple years ago (back when there were three or so bring a friend free days) and the place was pretty crowded, but I don't think Adventure Express was anywhere near 45 min. Maybe like 20 when I went.

First off, I have to go back to school tomorrow, too! (That's not a happy exclamation point) Second, I used to be just like your brother (except I was 12). And third, I completely agree with your idea of bathrooms and signs saying how long the wait is. I have walked back there so many times and just had to walk back after seeing the line.
