  1. Did they get all that debt from buying all the Paramount Parks?
  2. How can they say it has some of the oldest rides and then list The Beast as its only example.
  3. Well that's what makes me think they are going to use that crane heavily for the next 3 weeks.
  4. I don't think that it would take more than 3 weeks to get those highest supports up so maybe they are trying to put all the stuff in that goes over the pathway before then. I don't think they would have the crane in their whil HH is going on.
  5. I don't think so. Just because you reserved a room doesn't mean that you get to go to the park.
  6. Ha ha ha I only had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for the front seat! Ha ha, i had 18 walk-on's in a row! I ride back seat, so i can get more airtime! When was this?
  7. What is that from? South Park It's Sally Struthers as Jaba the Hutt or Pizza the Hutt (from Spaceballs) Oh, okay. South Park was my first guess, but I didn't know who it was either.
  8. I have always wanted to go (and plan on going sometime) but for some reason have never been there. I even went camping at Lake Erie and could see Cedar Point, but never went. I, too, live about 3 hours away, which is part of the reason I have never been.
  9. A great trip report. I don't care how boring your trips are, as long as you keep writing reports like this one.
  10. I got there at about 11:00 and the sign listed The Crypt and Kings Island Theater as closed.
  11. One of my favorite views in being a mile or so away and seeing the Eiffel Tower, Son of Beast, Drop Tower, Slingshot, and Xtreme Skyflyer jetting out of the ground. I guess I will have Diamondback to look forward to next year, too.
  12. I usually check the signs, too, while watching the rides.
  13. It was working very consistantly in the begining of the year, but It's been closed for weeks now. But at the front gates they don't put the Crypt on rides closed that day. I think the Crypt is closed because of the construction, and I do not see it leaving soon. I just went to KI yesterday (Labor Day) and The Crypt was on the list of rides closed all day. speaking of the list of rides closed all day, am i the only one that misses the sign that listed all of the rides closed for the day. because i for one don't like to stand around at the medal detectors and wait for the list to scroll across it. I don't stand and wait for it, I watch it as I am walking up. well my eye sight isn't the greatest, plus i'm usually preoccupied with Drop Tower or Invertigo or Delirium, or Son of Beast, or pretty much every roller coaster i can see from the front gate. Who isn't?
  14. I went on Labor Day and it was pretty fun. I didn't know what kinds of crowds to expect, but I was very happy with all the wait times (except 40 min for WWC). I went to the Eating Competition and that was fun. All in all, it was a very fun day.

  16. I was there yesterday and I have to say it was better than I thought it would be. I think the announcer was pretty good and made it better, too. I happened to eat Skyline before the competition, but I only had a couple of coneys, not 13.5 pounds worth of 3-ways.

  18. Yeah I know, but right now it would be a waste to get one because I doubt I would be able to go to CP at all and as of right now, I don't have the money for one.
  19. As of right now I don't have the Platinum Pass, although I would love to get one. As soon as I can drive myself to Cedar Point (most likely before next year), I will get a Platinum Pass.
  20. Yeah, in about 5 1/2 hours I was able to ride The Beast, Vortex, Flight of Fear, Racer, Adventure Express, Invertigo, and have about 30 min to eat, and watch the Eating Competition (which took up about 35 min).
  21. I was gonna say, that didn't look like the sun shining on the paint. I just couldn't remember when it was re-painted. It looked terrible right before it was painted.
  22. Yeah with it being so hot today, the longest I had to wait was 40 min for White Water Canyon. I think the second longest was probably 20 min for Flight of Fear.
