I went to the park on Friday and it was pretty neat to look up at it with all of the fog around. You could barely see the top of it because it seemed to rise slightly above the haze of fog. Like many people have said before, you have to see it in person to believe it. I was really surprised that it wasn't even at its peak, but it was still so tall.

SOB is alot smoother than Mean Streak! SOB is alot smoother than Beast. Atleast i think so.. Are you on crack? That may be your opinion but I don't see how you could say Son of Beast is smoother than its faja (father). Beast is almost un enjoyable. It is an okay ride until the MCB's, after that it is hell. SOB only has one rough spot and that is in second time around the rosebowl and that isn't that bad at all. You have no know how to ride SOB for it to be amazing. If you ride SOB the wrong way then you could get a head ache. And no i don't to crack... I'm just kiddin' about the crack thing. I didn't really think you were on crack, even though I have never met you. I was just surprised to hear someone say that. Well, I guess I will compare them both at night since I am going tomorrow.

SOB hurts me. My first ride, I came off with 3 bruises, a backache, and a headache. I gave it another chance, and the same thing happened the second time. There will not be a third. Did you try riding it at night? It's much, much better.

I would take Boomerang Bay over The Beach any day, but I think a new slide wouldn't be bad. There is a good variety already, though.

Why get another ride like The Crypt when you've got The Crypt. It just needs to be revamped a little. There is also Flight of Fear, which is an awesome dark ride. I think I would prefer another 3-D movie to give me something to do while my food settles or when I am tired of standing.

Just add a little hill in between those two unfinished sides of the bottom of the first drop and you've got yourself a large Avatar (the ride, not the person).

It is Halloween Weekend and the park can say they are open in November.

I don't really know what to expect, though, with that slight turn and the steepness of the ascent.

Somewhere between 80 and 90 feet is probably right, especially if the building is about the same height of The Racer's first drop (which is 88 feet I believe).

They really just need a webcam that gets this wide shot.

I, too, thought I was going to cry while going up. We were about 50 feet up and I was like this is high enough. Then once were about 200 feet up, I was just like what's going any higher going to do.
