  1. You're probably right, but how is it any less safe than usual to get back in? One of the fears is that patrons of this...uh...adult event will leave, go to their cars, imbibe in 'adult' beverages, and return in a somewhat less than sober state. Also, this allows large groups of guests to assemble in the parking lot. Older adults often figure, sometimes somewhat reasonably, that large assemblages of idle, perhaps inebriated teens are a recipe for trouble. Or, if you are more cynical, I suppose you could think the no re-entry policy is to keep safe Cedar Fair profits as guests who are famished must partake of the over-priced comestibles, if they can be called that, along with those same but somewhat higher priced adult beverages contained within the gates of the facility. Well, I don't want that. And I guess the park doesn't either.
  2. I think I was scared on just about every coaster and big flat that I have been on, but only for the first time on each (except Drop Tower). The first time I ever rode The Beast I wanted to get out when we started reaching the top of the hill. Of course I didn't, but I wanted to in the back of my mind.
  3. Yeah, those were the ones I didn't care for too much, either. But I don't mind too much.
  4. You were a better drawer then, than I am now.

  6. Yeah, I would actually rather get wet while in line for Firehawk, not after I am done waiting for so long in the heat. The mist fans sort of help, but they need like water stations or something in the lines.
  7. If only they named Firehawk, Waterhawk. Then they could shoot water at you. I really would prefer they did not shoot fire, because most days I ride it are already hot enough, which is where water would come in handy.
  8. My guess would be that they move the splashdown camera so we can see the lift, because I don't think they will be doing any more work in that area anytime soon.
  9. Yeah, it has, but I don't know if I can forgive you.
  10. Yeah, the entrance building does seem a little old, but it is completely fine with me if they spent money on new rides before they dealt with that.
  11. I would further agree with you Nemo because I would guess that they would put in the pieces that people see the most first.
  12. Way ahead of ya. Check the other Diamondback thread.
  13. Most likely. Didn't they just put down all the splash down pieces today?
  14. At least with Tomb Raider, part of the line is inside with A/C Remember back in the day...they had "beast" footprints, painted in yellow on the concrete where the line for The Beast would extend...almost to the pizza joint if I remember correctly. I guess they blacktopped over those many moons ago.... Yeah, I think just about every line is better than the Firehawk line.
  15. I'm pretty sure that DisneyWorld touches up the paint (among other small things) in their park every day.
  16. I would say 1,049 according to Guiness. Hmmm...Sounds very possible then.
  17. That is a beautiful sight to see. Although the track pieces on the lift hill will look much better.
  18. Anyone know how many people they need to break the world record?
  19. I forgot to add...Why was this done?
  20. Oh. When was this done?
  21. I just tried getting on the site and it took longer than usual and once I got there, it would not take me anywhere.
  22. Actually, Racer has NOT been the same for 36 years...they removed a bunny hop and flipped one side around backwards for a while, then this year undid the flipping, which flipped some people out while elating others. Where was the bunny hop at?
