It's difficult sometimes when you have a lot of people trying to get into the park free. There are definitely flaws in the system and you are right. It is totally unfair to punish those who do not try to cheat the system and are just doing what they were told. I have had people try and use their friends pass, and even people try to come up to me form outside the gate and ask for a hand stamp! Sometimes associates just see so much of the bad that is gets hard to trust everyone. That's where there could be improvements made in the technological aspect. There's a lot of room for improvement. Just shows how hard our job can be sometimes.

It also speeds up the process very much to make those huge processing lines to go by a little faster for everyone.

Last season we stayed until the park closed. I can't say that it will be the same for this year but I'm guessing it will. I'll be working April 9th for a couple hours so come visit me and buy your passes!!!

That is very scary. I have always thought off what I would do but never really thought it would happen to me. I'm always just having fun at work, never thinking someone will point a gun at me. It is even scarier thinking that I am outside the gates before the metal detectors.

I saw that video yesterday. I think they look pretty cool. Especially the blue one with the white outlining on the bike and the word "Tron". But I am glad that these are only on the Epcot line too. It looks like a lot of people are looking at them as they pass by.

That's what I'm hoping for too. But for now I Just can't wait to step in the park again.

Don't get me started on my first ever ride on Millennium Force. Yes it was at night. Yes it was in the front seat. Anyways... I think Kings Island has some of the best night rides around. A big bright light blinding you ruins the experience and almost pitch black ride on a coaster. Cedar Point isn't surrounded by large amounts of woods like Kings Island is and I think that is a pretty unique thing to have now a days.

That was my first view when I saw it testing for the first time! I drive this way when I drive to work at the park and when it is sunny out and clear skies it looks amazing. I especially love when I work the open shift and get to see this at about 7:30am with the sun just rising. Can't wait for my life to continue again!!

I find myself taking the long way home as much as I can now just so I can pass by the park. Does anyone know if they are going to change the parking lot signs to names of Snoopy characters. Like for example they have row Invertigo 5 or something like that. Anyone think they will change them to the name of the Peanut Gang?

Yeah the process is so fast now. I remember having to wait for it to print off from the machine and everything. Just think about all of the poor people who have to type up all of that information for each pass though....haha I'm just kidding, it is fun to do during down times toward the end of the day.

She was looking through a shoe box full of old things and came across this! The back of the pass says all of the usual stuff...non-transferable and I also read this and wondered if it is on the season passes today... " Acceptance of this pass constitutes permission to Kings Island to photograph the bearer while on the premises, and to use any resulting pictures for any purpose without payment to bearer." The pass has a laminated feel and is pretty sturdy. I'm glad my Mom found this!

I wish there was a picture of the whole line. I wanted to see how it compared to the one last year. My sister had an interview scheduled for 10:00 and she said a security guard told her people had been in line since 8:30 and the line was already out to the front gate when she got there.

Drive your car and then make her pay you for gas money. lol She doesn't have a car so I guess that could work! lol jk I'm not that mean.

My sister was the first interview for merchandise this morning and got the job! She will be working for ride photos in the Planet Snoopy area! Only bad part is that we have to carpool to work now. Good luck everyone!

Do you happen to go to either Cincinnati Christian or CHCA? I believe both of those schools are doing BATB that weekend and I'm seeing both Yup!! I go to CHCA! That's awesome that you are going to come see it!!

That was a tough one between Griffon and Diamondback but I chose Diamondback. Just is a lot more thrilling. But the front row of Griffon does give it a run for its money.

Umm I don't think so but I'm not entirely sure. The department has training before the park opens. This usually happens around late March and if you are still 14 I am not sure you would be able to take part in training. I would call up to HR for a better answer though. It wouldn't hurt.

Congrats mlt2013!! Welcome to the best department ever!! I would apply and try to get an interview before the job fair if I were you HTCO. I was at the park last year during the job fair and I'm not sure you would want to wait in that line.

wow I am so glad I got to go at the end of the 2008 season. Only coaster I can say I will miss is Greezed Lightnin'. It was an alright little park but I can't say I am going to miss it terribly.

It's kinda early for me to pick a date because I have no clue when training will be for work or anything. Someone else can choose.
