Kentucky Kingdom
I just wish all the success to Herschend and Kentucky Kingdom. I’m hoping it will force Six Flags to keep Kings Island competitive, beautiful, and well themed.

Six Flags Fails to Avoid Website Data Tracker Lawsuit
Don, I can’t seem to find a clear answer without hitting a paywall. Is this lawsuit against Cedar Fair and/or Six Flags prior to the merger or does it stem from something after they merged?

Six Flags Names New CEO
Don, Will we get to hear your own thoughts/opinions in an upcoming Tower Topics??

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
That and “unruly behavior” will definitely be mentioned. Haha

Kings Island 2025 Special Events
The issue with that is that most all of F&B management have ego issues. Their ideas are always best and no one can do it better. I once pitched an idea to Mark about trying the Disney method. Having people order first then pickup their food. He literally made me feel like it was the stupidest thing I ever said. Hence why I finally left after 3 years.

Has Kings Island Peaked?
I do think you’re correct about a majority of this. The quality of the parks atmosphere and events has been slowly going downhill within the last 5-7 years. Yes KI is getting ride investments and restaurant/bar improvements, so I definitely recognize that. I care more about the feel of the park, so taking away landscaping, turning off water features, and not replanting trees, has made the park feel less cozy. With Sol Spin, the reason they got the single seat versus the dual is because the park was given the “investment money” kinda last minute and very late in the season. So when they reached out to the manufacturer they were told they could get a single seat model but not a dual seat model to be ready by park opening. That’s the only reason they went with the single seat option. It was so late in the season and the park had to go with rides that could be ready by opening day, or shortly thereafter.

Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor To Close After 2025.
I’m surprised, but at the same time I’m not. With that parks perceived history as being one of the worst in the chain, I feel like it will be the least missed by the general public.

Missing a fun feature
The clock rarely, if ever, operated in 2023 or 2024. I think it stopped working somewhere near fall of 2022.

Fury 325 Support Failure
Sometimes the "silence" is necessary. There is a lot of legality surrounding any type of "comment" made from the park. If they say the welds are bad, Clermont Steel could come back and file a defamation or slander lawsuit. It's always better to know something as fact before any news is released.

KI Comms
You seem like one of the very few defending him constantly, so one could turn around and ask you why? What do you potentially have to earn? Do you personally know him or are related to him? I'm honestly not sure why this is still an issue. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and thoughts. It seems like you just want to constantly argue with anyone you can.

Food places in KI for 2023
It should be announced soon…….

Food places in KI for 2023
I'm not sure if it's been said yet, but Tom and Chee is moving into Chick-fil-a's former space and Skyline will no longer be on International Street.

Seasonal help job question
Housing application is only for active employees, so you would have to wait until an offer was made. Then during online onboarding she will be asked if she wants to apply for housing. Just keep in mind the housing fills up pretty quickly.

Camp Cedar No Longer Listed On KI’s Website
I like that Local 12 actually emphasized the fact that CF didn’t actually own CC. I feel like too many people thought they owned it. https://local12.com/news/local/kings-island-mason-amusement-park-cincinnati-parts-ways-attraction-cedar-fair-camp-cedar-luxury-resort-cottages-recreational-campground?-fbpost&fbclid=IwAR1kGN-jndBgIdotAnkO6sAiULE4X9a3TlZZ1iyXPC2C1kEbmne5WLIWNYY

Camp Cedar No Longer Listed On KI’s Website
I know it’s probably a long shot but if they could lease The Beach property and build a pedestrian bridge connecting it with Camp Cedar, I think they could have an amazing property.
