14 Year Old Boy Killed on Orlando Free Fall Ride
The wristband is good for multiple rides, which is why they do it. But people have different shapes and restraints vary quite a bit. Too many variations to consider.

Action Zone retheme?
Honestly, aside from the retheme, I would like to see them add a new midway path. I was thinking they could create a "main" path (there are different ways of redirecting traffic) that goes from in front of the KI Theatre to between the restrooms and Invertigo, extend it out through where Congo and Timberwolf now are and then back up in the land where the skycoaster is. This would give them more opportunities for additions and it would also bring more guests by Invertigo and The Bat entrances in a more natural way. While I like that the park doesn't force you to walk as much as, say, Cedar Point, I think its due for an expansion of this sort.

Which parks do you plan to visit in 2022?
Last year was kind of my return to going out to parks but was only able to hit KI and CP. My hope is to at least hit KD, BGW, Carowinds, Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World. Also, hoping to plan something more ambitious, like a trip through the midwest and a Florida trip. I have a lot of vacation saved up but its hard to use.

Blueprint under 50th Anniversary Bag hinting at something?
The blueprint just shows an area with picnic grove, the train tracks, and the path that connects to Soak City. It's clearly a photoshopped image but they chose to add a real blueprint from the park, probably just to mess with everyone.

City Beat shows you what Kings Island was like in the 70’s and one fun fact will shock you
DB and MT are my favorite rides at the park, but yeah they could have gone elsewhere. Rivertown definitely needs some attention in terms of scenery. Then again, much of the park does. Have you all seen videos of Jungle X-Pedition at KD? Makes me a little jealous. They even painted and rethemed Avalanche and it looks great. Action Zone could use that kind of attention.

Meal Plans
With that number of visits you're right on the line where you might be better off getting 2 all-day dining plans per visit (or at least longer visits) and taking turns eating. It has a 90-minute wait between meals and 2 would easily cover that size of family if you don't mind a losing a little bit more time from your day. The bonus is that you can try out different things and if someone doesn't like something, they can make up for it later. I would probably stick with the season dining just for convenience but its something to consider.

Subway not returning to Cedar Point in 2022
Is Chicken Shack supposed to be good? I ordered a sandwich but they gave me tenders instead (and it was way too crowded to get it fixed). The tenders, imo, were just as awful as Corral's.

Subway not returning to Cedar Point in 2022
I'm from closer to the Columbus area and had never seen Tom and Chee. We do have Skyline and LaRosa's but they aren't super common. At least all three are Cincinnati establishments. ChikFilA seems pretty popular at the park. Though I got the nuggets one time on my meal plan and they're so small. With that said, I would take it over the awful tenders that are served at places in the park. Subway is expendable to me because there aren't many people in the US who aren't within a quick distance of multiple Subway stores. Panda Express probably isn't popular enough to have real value to the park,. They would be better off with an original Chinese food restaurant, imo.

KI OPENING DAY 2022
I don't think I've done a passholder preview. What are those days like? Are a lot of rides closed? Crowds?

SeaWorld makes $3.4 billion takeover bid for Cedar Fair?
Though the bid was rejected. I did get a laugh from this article posted days ago. It reads like all of their "research" for the article came from Seaworld PR. Even the headline makes it sound like a done deal. https://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs/archives/2022/02/10/seaworld-continues-to-expand-with-34-billion-buyout-of-cedar-fair

Article: Six Flags could be potential bidder for Cedar Fair, analyst says (February, 2022)
Seems like a pointless article. Yes, Six Flags is in the same industry and previously tried to acquire CF. So yes they are always a potential predator for CF. But hey maybe Hershey wants to expand and have 11 more candy-themed parks. Or maybe Herschend wants a merger. Or maybe some chinese company wants to come in.

SeaWorld makes $3.4 billion takeover bid for Cedar Fair?
They could just move KD directly next to KI, tower and all, and then the sky ride would connect to the two. Wouldn't that be something?

Knott's giga?
They don't really have much choice there if they want to add something that big. Other parks manage with parking garages, like Universal Orlando. That's not to say its not a nightmare but so is trying to get out of the Cedar Point parking lot at the end of the day.

Beast project details revealed!
I would think it would have to be pretty major? Didn't The Racer lose a dip before the station when FOF was built while retaining its status? Or that is to say, it still earned its status later on.

The Beast Retrack Work
I've had restraints move up one position/click during a ride before, so I certainly won't question that rule. I'm guessing its when the ratchet wasn't fully in position despite the audible click.

Winterfest 2021 Reviews and Updates
The "winter music" suggestion strikes me as odd too. The park probably has to tread a fine line anyways with so many people afraid that Christmas is being taken away from them and those people will flip if they see as much as the wrong color cup. Since I haven't been to Winterfest since the 90s... What kind of crowds would be expected tonight versus Sunday? Does it change during the month? I imagine FOF and MT will have packed lines since they're the only coasters open?

The Beast Retrack Work
Yeah, we won't see any real layout changes but tweaks to sections is fine by me if it improves the ride experience. Though honestly I wouldn't mind if they shortened the brake shed and threw in some quick element before it. Does RMC even do topper track at all anymore? It sounds like Gravity Group's new precut/engineered track (which is hopefully what they're using) could make a big difference without compromising The Beast's claim of being a wood coaster.

The Beast Retrack Work
Someone on Reddit referred to the ride as "Beastie" and I had a little chuckle. I had been hoping to hear about re-tracking. So I'm pleased. And if they can turn off the trims...that would be incredible. I've always wondered if there's something they could do to the wheel assemblies to handle transitions better...

Fun Spot America getting an RMC
I figured it had to be some family thing.

Fun Spot America getting an RMC
Ultimately the name isn't that important but...goodness is that a bad name.

50th Anniversary Updates
Good point. Agree about those stations. Last time I was in the AE line it felt kind of run down or at least dirty. With Beast I don't really notice that much, since its supposed to have a rustic look to it, but I did notice there are some boards replaced in the queue that stick out like sore thumbs now.

50th Anniversary Updates
Banshee and Diamondback could both use it. Not sure the point in Adventure Express being repainted. You can't see the track from many places and its brown anyways. Unless they're going with a new color? Also, can we at least get the sign for The Bat painted? That would take what...10 minutes?

Top Thrill Dragster Incident
I think ElToroRyan's source probably works for the chain and is probably putting some "spin" on it. There's certainly more to it.
