  1. A flat ride. I think it's called Matterhorn at Cedar Point.
  2. Take out the water tower and movie posters from Action Zone and put in a Flying Bobs.
  3. Each of the buildings represents a European country, therefore, each should/ could provide food/snacks from that country....hence.....Why not build a restaurant above each building that flows from one end of International Street to the other... kind of like City Walk with brand name shops below. Of course, there would need to be access ramps and elevators, perhaps escalators.
  4. I guess Michael Jackson is moonwalking the sands right now with joy!!!!
  5. Vekoma Flyer....Been there......Done that..... I'm more excited about Mystery Mine, Griffon, Maverick and Renegade. See ya NEXT summer.

oops, forgot about Knoebel's Phoenix. How about Falcon, or Gargoyle, anything but Firehawk. I guess the Paramount plan called for a Volare coaster as a cheap imitation.

I wonder what Paramount's plans actually were??? I think the coaster should have been called Phoenix. "Phoenix....fly it again in 2007, only at King's Island"

Hmmm....Interesting oberservation. I thought it was kind of strange to say that there was too large of a footprint to Geauga Lake and only to remove one specific coaster. It would be in keeping with the Area 51 theme to move Steel Venom as well. If it is true that we also get Steel Venoml, I wonder if we can expect Dominator and the other Six Flags coasters too?
  9. I liked everything that Paramount did up until IJST. It really should have gone in Action Zone somewhere.
  10. How about the name X-lax. Just kidding, but I'm not really impressed with a used ride. They have to do something special to get me to wait for 3 or 4 hours. What about an indoor flying coaster, kind of a followup to Flight of Fear, flying over the surface of Mars. Just a thought.
  11. Women don't lie.........Example Duke University case.
  12. Thanks for the link to the website. It brought back many, many memories. There are a couple of things that I noticed about Coney and Kings Island. If you look at the Top O' The Mall restaurant, it looks like a restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland (there was some connection with Disney at one time) Also, looking at the post card from the tower at Kings Island towards the main gate; I had no idea that Kings Island didn't open with an International restaurant......In what year did they add the International Restaurant open and when was it closed?????
  13. I'd like to see some more flat rides like they had at Coney Island. I'd like to see a modern version of the Lost River, a water coaster. A Haunted House would be nice too, maybe in Rivertown. As a matter of fact, I'd like to see more rides in Rivertown. There has been a push for capacity rides, however, I don't think most people mind waiting as long as a line continues to move. Waiting is sometimes a part of the attraction.
  14. I think he thought the kid was falling over the fence and tried to grab him and hit him instead. I watched the video twice and I wanted to hit the kid and his dad. Hope they get nothing with their law suit.
  15. PKI.com has put the announcement up again on the main page but not on the calender. It states "Be on the lookout for a Major Announcement coming soon about the 2007 season!!" Do you think the key words are clues...."be on the lookout".
  16. Now it's a fly-diving coaster. I bet no one would get to ride it twice.
  17. Give Eisner a little credit. Back in the 80's Disney was going bankrupt and was on the verge of selling out to a Japanese corporation. Eisner prevented that from happening.......on the other hand......I believe that he certainly went tooooooo far with the changes such as the elimination of hand drawn artistry ( the basis of the company) . Disney has always been beyond the reach of the general public in price and a little too below the intellect of the average teenager. Whenever I go to Disney World, I feel as if I'm in a really big commercial.

It's part of the soundtrack for the movie The Haunting. I'm not sure if that particular sound track is available. ***just looked on Amazon and it is available. The track is called the Carousel.
  19. You're right. I looked at several pictures of x-flight after posting and it would fit there.
  20. If you look at the amount of land cleared by FOF, it looks like a lot more land has been cleared than is needed for an x-flight coaster. Do you think there might be something more coming to KI???
  21. It's a lot of thong.

At Halloween Horror Nights, at Universal Studios, they had the Chain Saw brigade. They marched in group formation with chain saws raised and people would clear the way like they were watching a parade. And then....they'd stop and stand for about 10 seconds, then rip the start cords starting the chain saws and chase into the crowds with the chainsaws running. It was fun to watch.
  23. I agree. Unfortunatly, I believe that we will have brand new blue garbage cans with new KI labels, 25 cent cotton candy that is only sold till closing and the removal of some black top to be replaced with concrete. I think the biggest thing new will be the removal of the goldpass parking fence and the preferred parking area.
