  1. Knott's Great America is getting one. What if they are not getting the one from Geauga Lake??
  2. Hey DegenRider, You forgot Bring a Friend for $45.95 days and the Larosa meal deal , four drinks, four salads and a pizza for only $52.95.
  3. I didn't ask. I didn't expect it to be true, and....it hasn't happened!
  4. That's what the man in the administration office said when we asked if there were any future plans. It was a year ago, so, who knows.
  5. Come-on, t-shirts are assets. I don't think KI has enough t-shirts to make up a billion dollars. (it was sarcasm.)
  6. Hmmm, the same thing happened at GL with a major markdown of t-shirts. Could it be that CF is in over it's head? Perhaps they are poised to sell off some more assets.
  7. That's great news for both Riverbend and Coney. I only hope that Coney continues to expand it's lineup. A year ago a friend and I went to the adminsitration office and they hinted at a water ride for Coney. Maybe now with Geauga Lake closing, they can get the Gold Rush log ride.
  8. The bio-hazzard was supposed to be the poo you left behind after riding, unfortunately, the whole ride is poo!
  9. The Drop Zone at KD is the perfect design. While the ride is in operation they load seat zones and by the time the ride has operated it is ready to load again. Also, since the seats are lighter, the ride raises smoothly and quickly. It would be a great asset to reconfigure ours to be like theirs.
  10. What is the Riverbend Pavillion?? Are they expanding or redesigning?
  11. I would move ExtraTerrorestrial Alien Encounter from the Disney boneyard to X-base. That ride was simple yet effective.
  12. Gypsies, tramps and theives.... and every night all the men would come around....and lay their money down.
  13. Gyspsies, tramps and thieves, they hear it from the people in town they call them gypsies, tramps and thieves.....
  14. Are they planning on adding any new rides for next year?
  15. Oh MY GOD.....Topgun at Carrowinds is sinking!!!!!!!

    Hey, that's Missskeeter to you!!!
  17. To be as hyped up as this has been, I find that its a typical Kings Island stunt.....overhype and not delivered as promised. -Todd ^^^agreed. shows - ok. torture chamber was ok, even though I questioned it in another post, it was lame at best. Didn't see Dead Awakenings. haunted attractions club blood - best (new) Cemetary - best zombies and better coordinated than last year masacre manor - same as before trail of terror - more trash to maneuver through otherwise - same death row - where were the inmates? we only saw two, otherwise less fun than last year construction zone - same carnevil - same red beards revenge - (cowboy carnage, different costumes) same tomb stone terror-tory - same haunts not visited Elivira, cornstalkers (undoubtedly - same as last year) Would I pay for next years event? Probably not.
  18. Head Spin may go to Carowinds.
  19. ...and the Cuddle Up. also, the Starfish ride would fit perfectly in NICK Universe. "Patrick's Bikini Bottom Spin."
  20. The only park that seriously has no concerns about downsizing is Cedar Point. Any park with extra expansion property needs to be concerned. The former College Football hall of fame property is selling for $1,000,000 per acre. Assuming there is 500 acres of unused land at KI, that would be $500,000,000 to sell off debt. I think that would be the first asset to go to pay down the debt. Of course, the prices throughout the country would vary.
  21. You're absolutely correct. I did see a Fear Factor show at Universal. And when they ground up the worms and other stuff....had to leave. I'll probably give the show a chance, after all, if these guys have been doing this for a while, I'm sure I might be able to handle it...I'll bring a barf bag. LOL
  22. Not saying that it's wrong. I'm sure it's safe, just watching someone do that sort of thing is not what I want to see. Just thinking about some guy putting a cigar out on his tongue......OWWWWWWW. I might just skip that show if it's not illusions.
  23. The way I read it, it mentions someone putting hooks into their eyelids and lifting weights. There are a minority of people who enjoy pain (masochism) and that's too freaky for me, but if it's only illusion that they are lifting weights with their eyelids I'm ok with that.
  24. What is the Torture Chamber at Halloween Haunt? I read the website, but I'm not sure if it is an illusion show or self mutilation show. Illusions....OK. Self mutilation? I'm not so sure that's appropriate for anyone!
  25. What, exactly is the show "Torture chamber" about? It's in the Paramount theater the first couple of weeks of Halloween Haunt. I read the description on the Halloween Haunt website, but I'm not sure what it is. Also, I went to the park on Sunday, and I didn't see signs for Carnevil and I'm not sure where to go find the entrance.
