I definitely agree about Dead Awakening. I saw it Saturday and was quite....shocked. It was a good shocked but still. I thought it was a great show though. Now I'm addicted to Monster by The Automatic Automatic.

I visited somewhere around ten times this summer. Definitely not my best, but with gas prices the way they were... This fall I'm planning on going every week. As for '09, I'm getting ready to order my pass now.

So far I'm really pleased with Haunt. Last Saturday was my first trip and wow was it packed. I'm going this Saturday so I can try to finish all the mazes.

I went to Haunt yesterday and finally got to see DB after a month or so. I'm really impressed. It's just huge. The pictures don't do it justice. Most of all I'm shocked by the size of the size of the hill after the splash down. This is going to be great!

That was a terribly written into Wikipedia based largely on speculation and very loosely on facts. I wouldn't trust that rumor as far as I could throw (and you know I'd like to) the entire ride. Now, perhaps we'll get some better theming during the offseason, which would be great but TR:TR is not coming back. Sorry folks.

As I recall, they're supposed to. The lift supports are supposed to be yellow, then out in the woods they turn to grey in an effort to blend into the woods.

Oh yeah, it'd be a gorgeous sight without a doubt. Can you even begin to imagine the view of KI covered in a sheet of unbroken snow as seen from the Eiffel Tower? I imagine that would be one of the views you keep for the rest of your life. See Winterfest 2005. Yeah, I found out about Winterfest after the fact. 2005-6 were my KI "dead" years.

Certainly sad to see such a classic amusement park close. Definitely closing another chapter in the history books. On a positive note: Cyclone remains!

As much as I love winter I don't think I could love it from a roller coaster. I'm cold enough during Haunt, let alone when we're 5" under. Brr. I would, however, love to see the park blanketed in snow and lit up with Christmas lights.

I find AE to be incredibly boring to be honest with you. I've actually fallen asleep on it once or twice, according to my friend. The first time I rode it, it made me really mad. At the end of the ride when you're being pulled up the lift hill with all the stone statues around you, it makes you expect something good. And then...The ride is over. Probably on the list of the top ten worst endings ever.

$9 per barrel? $108.53 is more like it. Although, $9 would be nice....I just filled my car up for 50 cents!

Not to say it wasn't unfortunate, I'll add that. Terpy, you are right in saying that. I think a lot of the reason for the publication of this was its location. But, it isn't normal nor acceptable for a prop to fall on someone.

Is this really newsworthy? I could see it if she were seriously injured but it just sounds like a little scrape.

I agree. It's nothing too special. Definitely not a must do. It's fun to ride when it has a short line though.
